The Pride of the Forgotten

Deep inside a dark forest, carpeted with thick fog, the shadow beasts lay in wait...

Every lion who belongs to the pride of the forgotten is from the outside, or was born within the fog itself. Those from outside cannot recall anything of their past memories, and only remember their experiences from inside the forest, which needless to say, are usually nasty ones.

Over time, the trapped lions have found each other and formed a sort of alliance, a large group, but with no hierarchy or king they didn't dare call themselves a pride.

Until one day, when the lion Clouded started seeing creatures.. monsters... beasts, within the fog. The creatures were.. scary, at first, but as soon as the lions realised they weren't a threat, they started befriending them. The creatures could only speak in barely distinguishable whispers, however over time they realised they were guiding them to form a pride, and a small cub named Elderberry who had wandered in the forest and got lost, was destined to be their first Monarch.

NOTE: the lore hasn’t been forgotten about!! However the high council has kinda just become the faves den rather than smth lore related, so keep that in mind!
