~Sol Pride Lore~

Months had gone by since FiercePaws and his younger brother, DesertViper, were cruelly chased out from their former pride, Sigil Pride, a greedy, power-hungry lion murdering the old king and now ruling over what was once their home. The two brothers, with nowhere to go, traveled as far as they could in search of somewhere they could call home once more, with little to no luck. Eventually, with a tough decision, they decided parting ways was the best option. The brothers bid their farewells, and went on their own ways.

Far from where him and his brother split, FiercePaws happened to stumble across a wide, lush forest, where plants glowed in the night and animals he was sure he had never seen before hopped through the thicket and undergrowth. Something about the woodland seemed almost otherworldly the moment he entered it. The animals showed no fear toward him as he ventured through, all watching him closely and curiously with glittering eyes. He ran into a gorgeous lioness, strange luminescent wisps swirling around her paws as she stepped along the grass. She introduced herself as SunCloud, a lioness of which spent her time protecting the forest; Eventide Forest. FiercePaws showed great interest, and although SunCloud was hesitant at first, she allowed him to live alongside her.

After months together, FiercePaws and SunCloud fell in love, and Sol Pride was established, the two ruling over it together as King and Queen.

Eventide Forest is a massive, magical forest far from most other territories, only having a few prides that live near its location. Souls of the deceased come and go, able to converse with the living if the living are granted the ability to do so. Though, not all spirits that roam the woodland are good.

Demonic species tend to creep their way into the woods, disguising themselves as good spirits in order to commune with the living. They are power-hungry and manipulative, and feed off of negative energy. It's said that some of these entities are able to breed with the living, creating hybrid cubs that are bad omens to Sol Pride.

~Sol Pride Rules~

Lions and lionesses under no circumstance should mate with a demon spirit.

The Queen must remain loyal to the King as her mate for life.

Give thanks to the spirits after each hunt.

If an injured cub is found, help it. Cubs should not be left to die.

Cubs and lionesses (including the Queen) eat first, then the King, adolescents, and Submales may eat.
