As Mikazo grew old, his son Safi learned from his father's path, and, in turn, took his place as king of these lands.

Safi was heavily injured during a patrol, and passed on, but his wish to remain with his pride was so strong that he found himself reborn as a young adult in a new body. He renamed himself Abeni, but retains all the memories of his old life.

Mikazo's lands are ruled with kindness and affection by the young king. Although inexperienced, Mikazo will always do his best to protect his pride mates in this Savannah. Their low-lying cave in the valley they call home is comfortable, cool in the dry season and warm in the rainy season. They have been through hard times, but Mikazo and his pride mates have made it through.
