Pride Lore

The sun beats down, the distant horizon is nothing but a cloud of dust, and from what you can see theres plenty of sandstorms. Plant growth is little, a few yarrow here, a cactus over there, a... tumbleweed? besides the point. magnificent hills of sand roll up and down, and that should be enough scenery. Scattered rocks hold places to animals like desert hares, desert eagles, gekos, even a few more exotic and larger animals. Still though, food is little here, and the enviorment only welcomes the most worthy.
However, two notable things, a pyramid, it towers, touching the sky and space above it. And an.. oasis? theres a scent of a lion pride there.
Over the ridge a male lion, magnificent stands, he knows everything that happens on this territory, and he seems to be overlooking something, is it the lionesses?
The lionesses are chatting, mind you what theyre saying, young, old, cubs, adolescents. Theyre all there, gathered at a small watering hole, welcoming of all thirsty travelers to rest.
The lionesses seem quite close knit, varrying in colors and markings, the cubs are frolicing with eachother as cubs should do, playfighting, wrestling, the king goes down, smiles spread throughout.
