The Lothavan Fields

[Not sure if I'll keep the lore for long. Feel free to point out strange things in the writing ^^]

You walk along territories, scents of lions and lionesses fill your nose from all directions. As you saunter along, you come across a lush field filled with life in all directions. You ignore the signs of others being here and trot along to the river, instantly lapping up fresh and soothing water. You pause as you hear a rustle behind you, then a growl. You raise your head and stare at the lionesses behind you.

"And who might you be." A brown lioness demands. You say you were just passing through for water and didn't plan on staying long. Another lioness steps forwards and asks what you were doing in this place anyways, and you mention the destruction of your pride. The scowling lionesses relax and give you a look of pity before gesturing for you to follow. After a few moments they lead you to a slightly raised area, decorated with beautiful flowers and rocks of all sorts who hold chattering lionesses. They cease their chatter and eye you carefully as you walk through the area. It takes another few seconds before the lionesses stop and gesture you forwards. They circle around you as they call for someone.

After a second of silence you hear rustling of grass in front of you, and a large, colorful primal steps before you, eyeing you down due to the height difference.

"And you are?" He asks, and you quickly tell him your name. "I see, the name's Bullet. . ." he trails off and eyes the lionesses, mostly the brown lioness who spoke to you first. "His original pride was destroyed. He came here for a sip of water, though we thought you would've enjoyed him staying since we had a similar situation," the lioness says. "Ah, I see, " he sighs, visibly relaxing,"we'd be happy to have you for the time being, sir/ma'am. Come along and make yourself at home for the time being. I'd be happy to tell you of our pride."

The Lothavan refers to the name of the river that runs through this territory. Rumor has it that the river hold healing properties. You're able to see dead pride members at night as if they were alive and watching you through the water's reflection, as told by Bullet when he claimed to see Motherboard, but most chalk it up to fantasy and him missing his old mentor.

In addition to the Lothavan River there's a small patch of clovers the pride has called the Trifolium Patch, which has also been deemed to also have healing properties. When in trying times, a lion is ushered to relax and roll over the patch to wind down and gain positive energy. A few of the Elder and more rationally thinking members say the healing properties are due to the stressed and or depressed lion finally being able to sit and relax, though most think that the previous king, Motherboard, strengthens the patch.

The source of the Lovathan River comes in the form of a waterfall, called the Livana Falls by the clan. During a certain time of the night, the moon perfectly aligns with the top of the falls which makes it appear as though it's the source of the water. Lionesses who aren't Bullet's kin are fine with believing the moon holds the water as they refuse to make the journey towards the top of falls since it's steep.
Lionesses say the moon is the proper source of healing powers, and the river loses those properties when the moon gets slimmer. "It's better to wait for the Full Moon," some say, "it holds the most power."

The creek that runs through the territory is called the Ocarsecame Creek by the pride. Despite being apart of the Lothavan River, it holds no healing properties due to it's lack of size and it's distance from the actual river.

Beyond the Livana Falls is a beautifully decorated territory called the Cherrymoya Pasture. It was clear that the place was run by humans as a fence runs along the perimeter, though it's now kept by a king called Sun Who Watches. He and Bullet made a deal, one that consisted of Bullet sending his kin to the pasture in order to make room in his own territory and to help the pasture grow. Only Bullet and his kin are aware of this place, and in the dead of night Bullet aids his children over the steep waterfall in order to get them to the pasutre.

Motherboard's Legacy: The Trifolium Field

The first King, Motherboard, led his small but determined pride to a lush field filled with clovers. Prey was plentiful, water was in every direction, and most importantly, the pride was happy. The king led with a soft paw, being lenient and forgiving to whomever he crossed, male or female, within his territory or not.

The pride's happiness soon disappeared as humans made their appearance. Within a few short days, the territory in which Motherboard and his pride called their own became barren. Humans appeared with nothing and left with abnormal amounts of prey, repeating the cycle day after day until the land was scarce. The king desperately held onto the lands, attempting to send out more of his huntresses out before the humans arrived, but his efforts led nowhere. He called to his pride and declared the land lost, and that they'd have to move. Their journey was forced upon them early as one day the fields of clover went up in flames. They scrambled away, grabbing the few remaining items they had, and prepared themselves for a new life.

It took a while to find a empty territory. Other kings had chased the pride away, lionesses turned away and began a new life, and so on. Despite the situation, many had hope in their king. After 2 weeks, the exhausted clan found a place more perfect than the last. The lands were flat yet full of life, water rushed in a steady path instead of being in large, scattered holes, and most importantly, there was no other pride to be seen nearby. Motherboard quickly declared this place to be their new grounds and told his pride to relax as he didn't plan for them to be moving any time soon.

The after the pride had settled in and just before the sunrise, the king ordered for everyone to come forth to hear his words.

"I have been your leader for quite some time. I'm glad to see us happy and relaxed once again, however, I know that this happiness shall prosper if an old man wasn't in charge. So, when the sun rises and shows itself over our new home, Bullet shall be your king."
