‘THE CHOSEN ONE’

Darth Vader had his beginning as Anakin Skywalker. A force sensitive child thought to be, ‘The Chosen One’. The One who would, ‘bring balance to the force’. Jedi Master Qui Gon Jin strongly believed this to be true, yet Master Yoda and Master Windu had their doubts. Upon Qui Gons death at the hands of Sith Lord, Darth Maul, he made his apprentice Jedi Padawan Obi Wan Kenobi promise to train young Skywalker to become a Jedi. Thus Anakin became the Padawan of Obi Wan, as Kenobi himself was promoted to Jedi Master. Anakin was trained in the ways of the force and he grew more and more powerful, yet there was a darkness brewing inside of him. Young Anakin did little to avoid the pitfalls so many Jedi Masters warned him about. Emotion, Love, Arrogance, Hate, etc. in fact he did just the opposite of what he was taught to do. He fell in love with Queen/Senator Padme Amidala, and they were married on Naboo. In time, still hiding their relationship from the Jedi Council, Skywalker became distressed.
Skywalker thought Padme to be doomed to death during childbirth. This fear caused him to grow ever closer to Chancellor Palpatine who was really Darth Sidious, a powerful Sith Lord trained in the ways of the Dark Side of the force by Darth Plagueis. You see, the Sith had been hidden for quite some time. The Jedi knew the Sith were operating, but in secret. As Anakin embraced the darkness within himself He fell farther away from the path of the Light Side. This became evident upon his return home to Tattooine. There he discovered his Mother, Shimi was kidnapped and tortured by Tusken Raiders. Anakin found her just before she died in his arms. He then slew the entire villiage of Raiders, including the women and children. The Dark Side of the Force was growing strong within him. Some time later, and growing ever concerned about Padme and if she was going to die also and leave him, he sought advice from Palpatine. For over a decade Palpatine groomed Skywalker to be a powerful Sith Lord without his knowledge. Through trusted conversations Palpatine shared with Skywalker that the dark side of the force had certain power over death. He told him the story of his own Master Darth Plagueis, and his ability to control death and stop those he loved from dying. This intrigued Anakin. He suffered so much loss in his young life, first his mother and now the thought of losing Padme too - it was all too much. It was too much for him to handle. So despite the constant warnings of the Jedi Council, Anakin nursed the very emotions he was told to reject. Attachment. Love.
Later After he discovered that Palpatine was in fact Darth Sidious, the Sith Lord that the Jedi Council had been searching for, he turned him over to Master Windu.
Master Windu ordered Anakin to return to the council chambers and await his return as a battle between Palpatine and Windu ensued. Of course Anakin didn’t listen. He remained present during the battle. Master Windu overtook Palpatine, and as he was going to kill him, but Anakin stepped in allowing Palpatine the opportunity to attack Master Windu with Force Lightning, eventually killing him, but not before Windu defected the Force Lightning onto Palpatine, badly deforming him. Once this occurred, the blind Anakin pledged himself to Darth Sidious and to the Dark Side. The badly deformed Sidious dubbed Anakin, Darth Vader, and ordered he visit the Jedi Temple and kill the all Younglings and Padawan’s there.  Darth Vader did as he was told. He was next ordered to go to Mustafar, to kill the Sepratist Leaders. He did so, in cold blood, and with no remorse.  Just as he killed the entire villiage of Tusken Raiders. Indeed the Dark aside of the force was growing strong in him. Meanwhile Padme, his beloved pregnant wife arrived on Mustafar after having a conversation with Jedi Master Obi Wan. Obi Wan was going to get Anakin. He was determined to stop him and protect the galaxy from what Anakin would eventually become. Darth Vader.  An argument occurs between her and Anakin, Padme still believed there was good in Skywalker even after everything he did. They began to argue. Padme pleaded with Skywalker. He then struck her and she fell to the ground. Obi Wan and Anakin battled, and Anakin is wounded to the point of certain death. As he is engulfed in flames, his flesh burning, Obi Wan leaves. But not before telling him. ‘You were a brother to me!’   On the ship the droid medics inform Master Yoda, Senator Organa and Obi Wan that Padme is sure to die. They couldn’t explain why though. They all then discovered the child she is carrying is in fact children, yes Padme is pregnant with twins. Shortly after delivering Luke then Leila and giving them their names, Padme dies. Her heart broken. Yoda determines the children must be separated so that they cannot be found by the Sith. Luke will go with Obi Wan to Tattooine, to his relatives, under the watchful eye of Obi Wan, and Leia will become the daughter of Senator Organa and his wife who were unable to have children. As for Master Yoda, into exile he goes. This is just some of the story on how young Anakin Skywalker had his beginning, first as the ‘Chosen One,’ the one prophesied to ‘bring balance to the force,’ to becoming one of the most powerful Dark Lords of the Sith. Darth Vader!”
