Exhausted, you find yourself padding into an unknown territory with your last ounce of strength. Injured, dehydrated, and overall in poor condition, your mind was too hazy to quite process that you may be intruding upon a pride's home. Glancing around with weak turns of your head, your eyes adjusted to the warm, yet peaceful lighting that filtered through the leaves above you. The cozy and soft foliage below you beckoned you to rest. Knees buckling beneath you, you collapsed onto the ground with a huff, kicking up some dirt with your surrender. Though you seemed to be close to death, you felt tranquil. Tall grass enveloped you into a embrace and coaxed you into a calm state. Just as you felt your consciousness begin to slip into a void of uncertain fate, a strange lion approached your almost still body. He had a short stature for an adult, and an appearance that resembled your ancestors. Despite the long, intimidating fangs and spiky fur that he possessed, his expression was one of deep concern as he stepped towards you. Perhaps he will be kind enough to show you mercy?
