Hi everyone.
Another suggestion. I guess I am starting to become annoying, huh?

Anyway...
---------------------------
I am sure everyone noticed that some NPC interactions in explore for Karma, and some event interactions give you exp. However, I am sure you also noticed that this exp is not much. All levels -disregarding the exp needed for even a single percent- get the same exp.

Mostly 20-50exp as reward.

Now, this exp of course is a great reward for lower levels but higher levels purposely avoid such exp handouts and choose other steps because this exp is.... well... not much.

So...
---------------------
Problem:
The exp handout for some NPC interactions in explore and events are not adjusted to levels. For lower levels it is great, but for higher levels it is no reward.

Solution:
1. Adjust exp handout according to level, taking into account how much exp is needed for a single percent of experience. So while a level 5 lion gets 50exp, a level 20 might get 400exp.

OR

2. Instead of numbers, how about we have % rewards? 1% exp, 2% exp per choice. This way no need for counting and simply it can be added to the sum, raising the exp bar with the given percent.

Note: This does not affect the rewards given by items that events give out. For example, if you get an item that gives 200exp, it will not adjust according to level. Because you can give this item to any lion within your pride or sell it.
ALSO! This idea has nothing to do with NPC fights!

Thank you for reading.

I would absolutely love to see the exp rewards move from fixed numbers to percentages! I agree, I think the exp handout system needs a little fine-tuning and re-balancing, because the curve is just too steep as the levels get higher!

Totally support, love the idea of it being given as a percentage.

Do you mean for all areas?

If so, this is usually how almost all games work, however. It makes you move on to higher level areas to attack NPCs that hand out more EXP. There is no reason to stay in low level areas because they are low level areas and you are high leveled.

Leveling is frustrating, I agree, but as far as I know EXP is tailored to which area you're in, which is fine and realistic for any RPG.

I did not mean the exp handout at NPC fights. I meant it at karma and regular NPC interactions, and even some event interactions. For example, when I was in Waterhole already with my lion, which is a pretty huge level already, sadly one of the karma interactions only rewarded me with like... 60 exp. What is that? That is nothing.

I understand that they would be lower at lower levels, but sadly it is just as low at higher level areas too. They need to be raised to actually be considered rewards.
