I've been seeing a lot of newbies asking the same questions as they join lioden and everyone sees people begging for food and the like.

I have a solution:

In other sim games I have played there has been a walk though with various objectives you must complete. This teaches the newbies about the game and also gives small prizes for completing certain tasks.

Before anyone gets in a huff and says it isn't fair for older players, I think it should be available for everyone.

There should be many things included to give players a nice start in the game and also encourage people to play Lioden for longer instead of a quick log in and log back out.

It would be similar to the quests but in other games i've played there has been a link in the navigation that takes you to the page.

It should progress from very simple easy tasks with small payouts to larger ones.

Example: None of these are set in concrete of course, just an idea.

Objective #1 Obtain your first lioness.
It wouldn't matter how you obtained her, just that you did
Reward: One of the toys.

Objective #2 Send your lioness on a hunt
Reward: a small carcass such as a human leg or warthog.
Lots os new players complain about lousy hunters and

Rewards like this could help stop the begging. With older players that HAVE SB then needing carcasses it would also help to stabilize the economy without limiting anything.

Objective #3: Attack Another Lion
Reward: A random stat increase

After all lion stats are very difficult to build up, rewards like this could only help from how I see it.

Etc Etc.

Like I said they would then get more difficult after the new player understood the mechanics of the game. It would also help the old players that are a little bored with new things to do and complete.

EDIT:

I no longer think food should be a reward, now it is TOO easy to get food,

However I do think SB rewards would be a nice touch.
