SO i hate having to wait 20 days for my girl to be breedable again, but at the same time I understand why it exists. However, what if there a a gem you could use to reset her so the cooldown would be gone and maybe the next day she'd be breedable again:D Now there would have to be a limit on this item, say you couldn't use it but once every 2 years on her that way the cooldown isn't gone completely you can just breed her twice then have to wait the cooldown time. So to sum it up in case I just confused the hell out of everyone lol.

You bred a lioness and now she has 20 days of a cooldown. You buy this gem(a ruby maybe?) and use it on her. the next day you can breed her again if you want.
Then she can't have another used on her for 2 years so you'll have to wait the 20 days of cooldown. I like the idea of a ruby because it's color is close to red which represents love??? :D

To make it fair:
You use the item, the next cooldown will be doubled.

Example to understand:
Lioness has 20 days cooldown.
Use item, you can breed her again.
After giving birth, the next cooldown is 40 days.

Maybe we dont even need a limit on how many times you can use it as the cooldown would be doubled, thus you have to 'pay' a price other than money if you want to skip the breeding cooldown.

The only problem with Laszlo's idea is that then people will probably abuse the power of the ruby.

Say you use a Ruby on a lioness 5 times.. her wait time is now 100Days. Either there has to be a limit on how many rubys you can use on a single lioness OR a limit on the number of days you have to wait. So you use 3 Rubys however her cooldown time is still only 40 days.

I say this only because then people will be trying to sell lionesses with ridiculously long cooldown times. While many people probably won't purchase them, it just causes a bunch of chased lionesses. The second problem is people could use the Rubys on say a special coated female to the point where the cooldown is 60 days. Well someone is going to purchase it because it has a special coat but now has to wait 60 days unless they also purchase a Ruby.

With some tweaking I think it would be an awesome idea. I mean we already have items to add/delete markings as well as change opacity and birth cubs instantly. Id say it should cost roughly 3-5GB. :)

Actually... I was thinking that the ruby only removes 20 days of the breeding cooldown, tthen perheaps instead of doubling, it could add the 20 days back up to the next cooldown until you wait for the cooldown to naturally finish.

This way it would look like this:
Not yet used ruby, 20 days cooldown.
Use ruby and breed. 40 days cooldown.
Use ruby again, 20 days cooldown until able to breed. Then breed and have 60 days cooldown.
Use ruby, this time there will be 40 days cooldown upon use, but once you breed you would have to wait 80 days!

This way people cant abuse it, and eventually have to wait the natural cooldown if they ever want to breed again, and it wont pay off to use the ruby more than once, perhaps twice. Then it will become more of an annoyance than anything.

Least amount of support humanly possible.

Why is this required? How does this make the game more fun? So you can have more cubs, be the best, and then others will complain over the market being dead? Half the fun of the game is statting up the lionesses or waiting with anticipation for breeding.

We already have the zebra heart, insta-birth, and now two ageing stones. All this will do will make lionesses only baby making machines an perpetuate the whole 'the market is dead' thing. As much as I hate to say this and sound like those people: This, along with the new ageing stone, would kill the market, flood it with only special colored coats (like yours, right?), and then it would collapse on itself like Florida during the housing market crash.

Negative support.

Definitely no support. The cool-down time exists for a reason: to stop the market from being absolutely flooded.

No because I have a lady that is 14+ years old and I want to breed her before she dies but she is barely going to make it past the cooldown I'll have to use zebra heart on her instantly. If there was something to at least take time off the cooldown that would be very nice and there could only be 1 ruby used every 2 years in a lionesses life. That way it could be used say when shes 2 then when she's 4 it could be used again or something like that.

I hate to spoil the moment, but I agree with the negative supports. Like String had said, the market would be absolutely flooded. Also, if the "Ruby" were 3-5GB, it would be being bought tons of times. Lionesses have a cooldown for a reason. In real life, they technically do, too. The cooldown in real life is the timeline between birth and next heat, and I personally like how Lioden fits in the real world to a Lion SIM game.

Since the topic isn't closed, I wanna put my thoughts out here...

Lionesses do go back into heat immediately in the real world if one thing happens... their cubs die.

Maybe, if you didn't like the cubs you got, you could buy this thing that would put your lioness back into heat for the exchange of her cubs' lives.

I know, it's quite brutal, but it would kind of put a real life concept into play...

If you have an opinion on this, feel free to elaborate!

I think anything beyond Yohimbe Barks would be SEVERELY abused, personally-

The above idea is pretty cool, but even then. People would just fodder forever until they got what they wanted. Think of a Gon heat. You use a buffy to get three cubs. None are gone. You sacrifice or whatever those three cubs and your Gon is in heat again. Lather rinse repeat until every breeding cycle is guaranteed to have something good, because you redo it every time it isn’t.

Maybe instead it could be an age restricted item? Meaning the lioness it is used on has to be maybe 13+? And it be used as like a last legacy item.

It's on the list of rejected suggestions so it won't be added. No point in commenting here
