So recently I've noticed that when I've set up a trade, I put the link out and then get an idea of how much people are willing to offer/pay for the items.

Say I've created a trade that has 15 items in it, all spread out through my inventory, and then I realise that I'd like my buyout to be 5GB, not 10GB. I have to delete the trade and then go through and find all those items all over again to change the buyout price.

So my suggestion is that we have a feature that allows us to change the buyout price of a trade whilst leaving it open, and also the "What else" section.

This suggestion has 119 supports and 1 NO support.

I wish we could bump trades instead of having them brushed behind 20 pages over the night... I like the idea but its not too hard for me to recreate the trade, even though I have over 100 water quenchers in my inventory

Yes, it is rather annoying to have to delete the trade, when you only want to change something.

Support. Although if we were to have changed anything on the trade, anyone who made an offer can get a Game Notification or something, letting them know that someone changed something on a trade they offered in, as well as a link to said trade.

I support being able to change the buyout, but what if someone tries to buyout the trade while you just changed it?Does the site have the capacity to identify that the buyout changed and provide a blurb (like "The buyout price of this trade has been changed.") or would the site go through with the transaction anyway? They'd have to make it so that people can't accidentally pay more than the meant to due to buyout changes.

Depending on what database system Lioden uses, they should have a way to temporarily "lock" other users from accessing the trade on the server. Once the poster is done editing it, then it becomes "open" again and people can click on it.

I'm sure they could also just use a similar system like what ever they have going that determines who clicked the button first if two users try to buy out a trade at the same time. There is no way they do not have something for that situation!

I think if you were to adjust a trade in any way, the previous offers could just be declined with a message sent of trade has been altered or something, with an actual link to the trade. That would be the simplest way without having someone possibly try to adjust the trade to their favor before accepting an offer that's now way overprice for what they're offering. After all, if you were changing something, I'm assuming you just put it up, so it wouldn't affect anything.

I do agree that being able to adjust every aspect of a trade is definitely something I'd like - the items included, buyout price, and description.

I don't know about the whole trying to adjust while someone else buys it out, but of course the easiest way in any situation would just be to delete the trade first. If you didn't want to run into this problem, you could set up the trade without buyout first, create it, look it over, then edit with buyout.

I've been thinking of this for a while now and thought I'd search the boards before posting about it, and sure enough, here it is.
So I'll bring some new life to this instead.

It's a feature I really miss, because having to recreate a trade to change the price isn't just annoying, but doesn't it kind of defeat some of the purpose of having people watch a trade? They just think it was canceled but instead in reality I just wanted to lower the price.

So I support, fully.
