Thinking about starting up a role-play I had a while back that died. It was a Jockeys vs. Jumpers role-play.

Intro/Setting:

"They're just too different." Ask either of the trainees at Beech Haven and Scarlet Park why they don't get along and that is the response you'll get.

It’s no secret that Jockeys of Beech Haven and the Equestrians of Scarlet Park aren't the best of friends. In fact they despise each other. The Jockeys see the "Jumpers" as prissy and whiny, while the Jumpers think the Jockeys are dirty and vulgar. That's why when the famous Whitley Track burned down, which resulted in the loss of training facilities for the Beech Haven Jockeys, all hell broke loose. Frantic to continue on with their training the director of Beech Haven, Henry Beech, asked the neighboring stables to lend a hand but no one would comply, afraid of losing their “trade secrets” to the infamous trainees at the Haven, dubbed the "Devil Jockeys" in the racing community. The tight knit group of riders rule the track with an iron fist. Crushing anyone who attempts to get in their way.

On the other side of the equestrian world the riders of Scarlet Park are the beau monde of the equestrian ring. When they walk into a competition everyone knows what stable will be taking home the trophies. When she caught wind of the troubles of the Beech riders the director of Scarlet stables, Nancy King, seized the chance to make waves in the community and offered her stables as a place where the jockeys can train....the catch? They have to share the place with the 'Jumpies'. Nancy was met with a click of the tougne when she told Henry the slight drawback, there was no way he would let his jockeys fraternize with Nancy's riders. That screamed disaster. But soon Mr. Beech's back was against the wall. Reluctantly he accepted Nancy's offer. Sadly this drastic change couldn't have come at a worse time. With the Kentucky Derby and the Grand Prix drawing nearer the riders have plenty on their plates. The qualifying races and competitions are no joke and they will have to fight to maintain their place among the elite. With only four riders being sent to train with the Olympic team and even less competing in the Kentucky Derby the stakes are high, there is no time to waste.

Would be a literate role-play where we play the riders not the horses, looking for folks who can easily whip up a paragraph or two per reply. Only looking for about 3-4 other folks. Anyone down?
