I've noticed that since the Trading Center currently sorts with the oldest trades first, the results list is often clogged with old trades by players who haven't logged in for a year or more. This makes it difficult to find trades by active players and means that newer results are pushed off the bottom and not seen.

I propose the following:

- trades without an autobuy in place are set to expire regardless of whether the user is logged in or not. I imagine this will require some (long overdue) re-coding of the TC which may or may not already be in development, but I think it's important for the economy's survival.
- if a trade expires while the user is inactive, lions are taken out of the TC and returned to the user or, if the user does not have enough space, "chased" as any lion is if there is no space (i.e. with an option to get them back once the user logs in).

ALTERNATIVELY I believe it would be good just to have a "flag this trade as inactive" button which hides the trade from the TC and/or sends a flag to the mods for deletion.

I think this would help the economy as it would make it easier for users to find the lions they want and for users to sell the lions they have, while we are waiting for a larger overhaul of the TC/search functions currently in place.

I support because I stopped browsing the trading center because of this. I have to check the activity of every trade's owner, just to see they're inactive, and that's boring.... I don't even try anymore.
But when the staff implemented the expiration thing, it just bugged everything, and it looks like they haven't fixed it yet. We still have a text saying the trade is going to expire but the days doesn't change anymore. I'm not sure they found a solution to fix it. If they did, they would have done it.

Trades DO expire in 30 days... but I have found some trades coming up that have been there for MUCH longer, and the code misses them. I have also seen people put a trade up and not come back on to check it for two weeks, which is a looooong time if you have bid on something and want to get a yes or no...

Autobuy's could Expire in 30 days, and perhaps Trade Items with NO autobuy could be limited to 1 week before they expire? You can always re-list something! There is no fee to worry about.

Support.

I feel like 30 days is far too long anyway - and even without being logged on, I believe they should expire. The TC has so much going on anyway, that even with trades that last 7 days you'd still have a hard time finding what you're looking for. Like with my lions on my side account I try to sell them there, and after 2-3 days I end up cancelling the trade and putting it up again, just to be sure people have seen it.
