There has been quiet a response of No Support to the idea of making event currency transferable.
I have edited my idea to retain the concept of linking accounts but struck out all mentions of currency.
The images still contain edits with event currency as the linking account aspects are still relative.

Link Main and Side Account

The basic over view of this suggestion is to officially link your Main and Side Account (still keeping 2 separate accounts) with the main purpose of transferring Event currency.

A lot of players have been pinning away for a way to transfer event currency.
I hope you all find this is an acceptable step towards making that happen.
By making Event Currency transferable between only your own accounts it can be a way to help casual players accumulate enough currency to buy more expensive Event Decor and Items.

Link Accounts

A list of accounts on your IP will be provided from the drop down box.
Select an account to link to.
Update your details to confirm.
A message will be sent to the selected account where confirmation (or rejection) will be needed.
Either confirmation straight from the message or via another page would be a good method.
Once confirmed Accounts will display as linked.

Set Main and Side Account

Once linked, accounts will need to be set as Main and side.
You will only be able to set these after accounts have been linked.
Select Main or Side and Update to confirm.
Second Account will either be automatically updated or manually need to be selected, Which ever is easier.

What Now?

Well now your accounts are linked!
But what does that mean for you?
Well now you are able to transfer event currency between your linked accounts as you would with any other currency.
For the purpose of ease I suggest event currency transfer visible on the Transfers page at all times but an Error message be shown when Event Currency is attempted to be transferred to any account other than the one linked.
Well now the concept of transferable event currency has been booted, the idea still needs a point.
Hopefully you will find the bellow reason enough but please comment if you think of anything to make this stronger.


I have hopes that this will make it easier for siblings on the same IP to be able to create Side accounts easier as well.
It should also make it easier to discern illegal extra accounts.

Do I have to Link my accounts?

No, if you do not wish to link your accounts you are not obliged to.
It will mean you cannot transfer Event Currency.

Does this mean I have to create another account?

No, if you do not wish to create a secondary/side account you do not have to.

What happens if someone links to an account that isn't theirs?

Hopefully when the person receives the message to confirm or reject they will do the right thing and reject.
If they don't and are found out, they will receive punishment deemed appropriate by Staff.
By only offering accounts on the same IP address it should help prevent linking to accounts that are not your own.

Can I Unlink My Accounts?

I suggest no as there should be no reason to unlink them, such as linking to another account.

Can I Change My Account Between Main And Side?

I think you should have the option to, I see no reason why not.
