I dunno if this is a good idea or not, but it came to me when I was grooming one of my lionesses.

What if our kings could have a chance to get 'bonding points' every time they interacted with their ladies?

I can think of at least one benefit to this, and that is lionesses being less likely to pack up and leave if they get hungry.

Also, perhaps she could 'wake up' at rollover in a bad mood, taking her mood down some for you to fix!

Implementations suggested by others
-The higher the 'bonding level', the more happiness/mood/whatever she gets from interacting.
-The higher the bonding level, the better she does on hunts.
-Lioness having bonds between each other too.
-Higher bonds with a king make her more likely to conceived
-Higher the bonding level, the more mood a lionesses loses from having a cub killed or chased.
-Relationship levels: Just met, acquaintances, friends, good friends, close friends, best friends, etc.
-Some lionesses don't like some things? That could lower the relationship, even going to negative, and that can take more mood off per day (A max of 7?) and less mood gain (A min of 8, max of 9?))
-"male only" decor items that the ladies who really like your lion give him at random, or "female only" decor items which she receives from the interactions with the male, such as those which randomly occur when sparring your submales.
-Negative bonds: a lioness entering your den for the first time has a neutral attitude towards your king and can be convinced to either like or dislike him over time. This would involve bringing in negative interactions as well as the positive, "play, groom, and tussle," with a similar reaction as to when you chase a cub before it is 5 months old - negative happiness, and a detriment to the bonding bar. Maybe some things like: smack, bite, kick dirt at, ect.
-If you bond too highly with a lioness you can't chase her anymore
What do you guys think? Good idea or no?

What would be a benefit of bonding?

Perhaps the higher the bonding level, the better she does on hunts (she now has a reason rather than 'oh the king told me to go so I will')?

I do like Nya's addition as well. In any case, I support. Lions in the wild definitely have lionesses closer to them than others, and I don't think it would be too difficult to implement, nor do I see any obvious problems.

I think that's a great idea. I also like the idea of lioness having bonds between each other too. Like a pride affinity and king affinity, or relationships between certain lioness, either chosen randomly, or from who she hunts with most often, and how she feels about the king?

A higher bond with the king and/or her pride mates would make her a better huntress?

I really like that, Tzippora. Perhaps lionesses could tussle and play with each other too, like they do their king.

Maybe when a lioness has cubs she is closer with them if the player decides to keep them.

This is a pretty snazzy idea~! Pride females typically have certain others they favor to spend time with, and some lionesses are closer to the lead males that others. I'd love to see this idea implemented c:

this is nice! Suggestion- it could make it easier to breed a lioness? OwO like, she's more willing or something and gets pregnant in fewer tries xD (without it heightening her fertility) and/or the bonding points could give you some +karma if your lion is a good lion :P

Maybe, the higher the bonding level, the more mood a lionesses loses from having a cub killed or chased? I mean, she'd feel betrayed, no? Still, support :D

I support! It's a cool idea. Maybe there could even be relationship levels too? Like, just met, acquaintances, friends, good friends, close friends, best friends, etc.

I like all of Arkkael negative effects. Adds a bit of thought to the normally tedious daily process of scrolling and clicking the "play" option over and over again for a stat point or two, that I feel like still wouldn't be there even with there being bonding and the benefits of that happening.

I would love to see cute "male only" decor items that the ladies who really like your lion give him at random, or "female only" decor items which she receives from the interactions with the male, such as those which randomly occur when sparring your submales.

I would also like an option to make a lioness take on a negative bond with your lion, rather than bond with him; a lioness entering your den for the first time has a neutral attitude towards your king and can be convinced to either like or dislike him over time. This would involve bringing in negative interactions as well as the positive, "play, groom, and tussle," with a similar reaction as to when you chase a cub before it is 5 months old - negative happiness, and a detriment to the bonding bar. Maybe some things like: smack, bite, kick dirt at, ect.

That it would be semi-realistic to lion behavior is something I always look for in additions to Lioden!

I really love this idea. I hope it's implemented.

A few days ago, i tried breeding one of my newer lionesses, and it took 38 tries! I'd love to see that with a higher bond, the less breeding's you have to go through, because i like my energy, and i don't want to waste a lot of it on breeding.

I like Nephala's idea of the decors. Hope to see it implemented!

I would love to see all of these ideas implemented to!
