Your birth was an unusual one the story was told to you a thousand times by your family members at every birthday party and family gathering. How a large freak storm erupted in the sky as you took your first breath and the strange arrow shaped birthmark on your skin. Sure it was strange even abnormal but many people have weird birth stories right? It doesnt mean anything but a cool story to tell to your future children. Its a nice thought except you would be very wrong. The moment of your birth you were chosen to be added to an ancient order, the birthmark your proof.

When you turned 16 something strange happened, your parents kicked you out of their home for different reasons none of them making sense, proof of your fake deeds was provided almost out of thin air and you were sent dumbfounded and lost into the streets.

You didnt stay in the streets long a stranger approached you one night and brought you here to a place only known as The Institute and it was there you learned what you were chosen for, what you were born to do.

Demon hunters have been around for thousands of years in every generation there are children born like you. Your mission in life is to destroy the demons that plague society from the shadows. They take many forms even human ones but you are trained to see through their illusions and wipe them out. Many die but your sacrifice keeps humanity safe. Will you survive or be killed by the very things you were born to destroy?

So this RP will be based in The Institute and the city surrounding it. You can choose to be new recruits, older students, regular soldiers who live at The Institute and help teach the students, teachers and a few Council members. You can identify yours and others rank by the color of their shirt. All pants, skirts, ect are black.

Students are from ages 16-18 after that you are a regular soldier sent out on missions give to you by the higher ups only known as the Council. The Council are the best Demon Hunters based on their powers and skill they are at least 21 years of age.

New student/recruit- White shirt
Student- Blue shirt
Soldier- Red Shirt
Teacher- Gray shirt
Council Member- Black shirt

Every Demon Hunter has a power sometimes two if they are exceptionally powerful but I will limit 2 powers to only 3 people.
Your powers cannot be overly strong and must have some sort of side effect from long term use.

Rules:
-One character per player
-Be respectful
-Semi lit: I want at least a paragraph if not longer and be descriptive. If you break this rule I will ask you to edit and fix your post or I will remove you from the RP if it continues. I want this RP to flow not become a jumbled mess.
-No over powered/boring characters
-Fade to black when appropriate.
-No pets:They dont have any place in The Institute.
-No siblings Demon Hunter children are not common and will not be from the same family
-Cursing is ok but keep it minimal.
