So far.. I'm mostly been told that my art should sell for 400sb.. But *Shrug* I want more opinions. Chibi/Pencil drawings; 20min - 1hr   ."Full"/Hard drawing; 20min - 2-3hr    .Lineless; 2-3hr   .Avatars/Paintings; 2-3hr   . 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 23/08/15 by Danny (#58378) |

How long does it take you to make? I'd say 5gb for a headshot and ten for a body, but that's just based on detail. Maybe make some lion examples? That's what most on here are interested in. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Probobly around 2-5 gb, it's important to get the credit you deserve in your artwork! All your art is clear and the lines are beautiful. Whoever said 400sb probobly wanted some art but couldn't pay for what it's worth. I love the first drawing by the way! I love them all, but that ones my favorite. 0 players like this post! I would say about 400 sb for simple headshot 600-700sb for bust 800-1000 sb for simple full body. +200-400 sb if they are more complicated NEVER UNDERSELL YOURSELF! Your art is good +sb for shading +sb for lineless 0 players like this post! Like?Edited on 23/08/15 by MarekS (#50681) |

I agree with MarekS, but overall you should charge based on how much effort the piece will take, if that makes sense? For example, a simple 2-3 color head-shot that'll take you 30 minutes or less should cost maybe 400SB if you'd like. A full body with lineart and 4 or more colors should cost much more because it takes a lot of your time and personal attention. Some people like to charge a bit extra for adding complicated things like wings, teeth, or a background, but that depends on the person. Whether you want to receive SB or GB or a mix of both depends on what you'd prefer to get. I feel like this wasn't much help though, haha. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I PM'd! :D As for your art, you're actually really phenomenal! I'd say you could make a living out of recolors alone, that's how good you are. For a recolor I'd pay an easy 400-550 sb depending on complexity and added decor, but if we're talking customs, I'd say 2 - 4 GB for your chibi fullbody because look how adorable your style is. (I am your new #1 customer, ok? xD) For lineless, because it's a terrible (lovely), hard (extremely hard), art style, I'd ask 4+ GB depending on headshot/full body and complexity. For a Full / Hard Drawing - ohmygosh I'll commission one of those probably later too - I'd ask 5 - 6 GB depending on the character, though for lions I'd stick with 4-5 GB to attract customers. For custom custom creatures (like my Faer in my profile pic) they tend to be harder, so you can ask for more with a clear conscience :) 0 players like this post! Like? |
