Tines- Antler points
Hinds- Females/Does
Stags- Males/Bucks
Herne- God of the animals
Herla- Deer
Rut- Mating season (September-November)
Brailah- Hedgehog, is used as an insult to other deer
Velvet- The itchy skin on newly grown antlers, generally falls off after a while.
Home Oak- The center of the territory, generally where the lead stag is.
Antlers begin growing in spring and are shed (They fall off) at the end of winter.
All of the males are called Outriders because they watch over the does and keep danger away.
Stags can have up to 20 hinds depending on how strong the stags are.
Fawns will remain with mothers for around a year, and will be born generally between May-July.
Outriders have less hinds than the Lead Stag.
This is a Red deer role-play.

HomeOak: A valley with a large waterfall that runs down from the mountains.
Birthing Cave: Sacred, only hinds can enter.
Winter/Bad weather caves: Generally where the deer go during blizzards and more dangerous storms.
