Children of the Flock
You are part of a small flock of sorts, but this is no normal flock. Its not made of birds, but bird like kids. You were taken from your mother at birth, she was told you had died, and implanted with avian DNA. You're 90% human, and 10% bird, and that ten percent sure made a big impact. You have wings, nearly super human strength, eyes as sharp as a bird of preys, and an appetite that could rival a competitive eaters. But you weren't the only experiments to be created at this lab, or as you were taught to call it, the Institution. There are plenty of other experiments, some successful, some not so lucky. You and your small flock are by far the most successful, that's for sure, but the runner ups are evil, vile things. Humans infused with the DNA of lions, these experiments are very different from you, see they can hide their animal side they are able to bring their animal side out at will, they change into fearsome beings, they match you in strength, speed and just about every other area, the only thing they lack is the ability to fly. Your flock is still trapped in this terrible place, locked up in small cages you must escape. But you know that even after you do get out, there are still many troubles that lay ahead, the scientists, or teachers as you were taught to call them, will do everything they can to track you down, and that means sending the Lions after you. Will you survive? Will you stay with your flock, or strike out on your own?

Rules

-Cursing is allowed, as long as it's kept to a minimum-

- Use the turn system when posting, if someone doesnt respond right away and your character is interacting with them, like a fight or an argument, do not post until that person has responded to your character.-

- Be nice Ooc, you can have a mean character, but be nice to others when Ooc-
- Stay active! If you no longer wish to participate in this roleplay, please post saying so. Don't just leave us hanging!-
-Only three races aloud (Lion humans- Humans- Bird humans)-
-We'll have a maximum number of 6 for the flock, and the flock will have two ranks. Leader and co-leader, they will be the oldest members of the flock-
We'll allow a maximum number of 8 Lions, they will not have ranks, but since they still serve with the teachers back at the institution, there will be "team leaders" assigned to each group sent out to hunt the flock-
-You're allowed to be 8 years old minimum, and 18 years old maximum-
-Please be literate, try to keep your posts 3+ sentences. I understand having writers block and the occasional one liner, but please keep that to a minimum-
