PLOT SUMMARY

You limp on, legs heavy, aching for sleep. An hour after sundown, when the mouth of the valley had vanished in the larger range, but before you had reached the edge of the forest, you stop in front of a near infinite grove of white-barked trees. They look ancient, wide with scarred trunks, and grow in a large circle together. You venture closer, seeing that within them that the grass was short and close-leafed, making a soft, fragrant ground that dipped down like a bowl of sorts. Above you, branches met and interwove each other over your head, new leaves filtering scattered rays of moonlight beneath you. Deciding to explore further territory, you are led to a small stream that flowed, fresh and cold, likely from the mountains. Behind bushes of gorse and bramble, there's a small bank of smooth grass shelved up from a pool, almost as if it had been made for bathing. You're alone at the moment, and you've washed for the first time since the day before, gasping at the cold water. You soak your swollen and aching joints. The sprains weren't too bad: seemingly getting better in a day or so. You return to the dipped ground, stopping as you're greeted with a lither, and fragile looking cat. It smelled of a ravine and strong herbs, it's expression stoic, years of experience behind those flickering yellow eyes. Attention on you, it's voice low. "Stranger? In our territory?" The tone was questioning, quickly echoing throughout and off the white trees- you watched few, no, several other cats climb out of the underbrush and gather around. They chattered and chirruped, sending a thrill through your body, a large clan. You look around before the lively feline with eyes on you spoke again. "Welcome to Fieldclan." The cat cooed, the rest of the felines repeating after her in unison- soon chirping together.

CATS

Honeystar - X / ♀ / 26 Moons / Leader - A petite and lithe she-cat with a tabby pelt and wide yellow eyes. She has a thin build, although makes up for it with an extraordinary amount of agility, along with a very ambitious and logical mindset. She has her negative points as well, needing to work on her patience as well as having a sharp tongue. (Character by RRNeko.)

Spiderlegs - X / ♂ / 29 Moons / Warrior- A thin and fragile-looking tom with a dabbled grey pelt and narrow green eyes. He has a pliable build, but has a great amount of stamina and speed, also being a very sarcastic and stoic character. He has a rather hard heart, not being an easy cat to befriend, and is known to break down at times- becoming rather rude and snide. (Character by RRNeko.)

One Eyed Jack - X / ♀ / 33 Moons / Warrior - Jack is a tall sort of scruffy looking cat, clearly a feral, with an ink black pelt that sticks up in various places. She has a white chin, bib, front toes, and back paws that break up her dark fur. Her right eye is missing, although the left is still perfectly intact and a dull mustard yellow in coloration. She bears many scars from a nick in the ear, to multiple puncture wounds on her left shoulder, she has a story for each one, but most of them change depending on her mood. As you can see by her numerous scars, Jack enjoys a good, "tussle" every now and again, but otherwise gets along fairly well. She's calm and sarcastic with a sort of over confidence that bugs others. Even her walk has a sort of casual swagger to it and she often thinks of herself as a bit superior to most other cats. Her comments are generally not that bad, however she's been known to make some rather rude and/or sexist ones. There are few cats she respects, especially ones younger than herself, and she isn't fond of being told what to do, much more used to bribery or deals. (Character by Prince KYO)
