I believe they wanted to keep the mystery if I remember right.
I dont know... I remain neutral in this subject. It would be nice to know but on the other hand it makes it more exciting while you gain or lose karma and wait for your lion's name to show up. It could at any time, after all.

Please. Its annoying to have to hope they have their karma listed on their bio when I wasn't to know how far I have left to go.

The "keep the mystery" explanation doesn't make a lot of sense to me, because every other board shows what the stat is.

I think it probably has something to do with having to pay the snake to reveal your karma but surely they could still display it. Its not like showing the karma of 20 lions for free is going to affect the sb sink or whatever that paying the snake gives. (If that's the reason you have to pay the snake.)

me and a friend have just been discussing this, and i totally support.
The main reason is because it's so inconvenient not knowing how far you have to go, or how high the competition is.

if paying the snake really is an issue, it could be a thing of that the board only shows karma that has been revealed, and if it;s not been revealed it just wont show, that simple. It wouldn't show the current karma, only the one you've most recently revealed.

It affects a total of 20 lions, and won't damage the cost of SB to reveal karma for anyone not on leaderboards. It'd just be useful for people looking at leader boards

No support. I've got a couple reasons.

I was once #1 on the Evil Karma boards, and the amount of work I had to put in to get there was immense, but also I communicated. I inquired with a couple of the top players and they were nice enough to let me know, and that was all I needed to ballpark some estimates.

It should be their choice whether or not they want to give the information.

Given how easy it would be to dethrone them simply by doing the math and buying that many Vulture Eggs during January, for dedicated (or even petty) players with a ton of cash to instantly dethrone them would feel miserable. At least with the numbers hidden, this isn't as easy.

But mechanically, there's another reason for this. The snake requires you to pay to reveal your Karma, and it's only shown for you - the owner of the king. So no reason that players on the boards should function any differently.

Lions killed or sent away are publicly available information on king profiles. Same with stats and level. Karma isn't publicly available on any king. Leaderboards reflect what stats are visible.
