Hi there, Lioden. I joined about a week ago, so forgive me if this thread is inappropriate or in the wrong place!

I'm looking for a mature RP partner for a specific prompt. Mature because I prefer to play with people closer to my own age, not necessarily because of "mature situations" in RP. I've come up with a world and a civilization based on elements of Ancient North African cultures. The dominant people here are of course the lion folk, who rule the lands as Kings of various regions from their elegant desert courts bristling with the spears of their huntresses and gleaming from the gold of their coffers.

However all is not well in the Kingdoms. War between the Kingdom of Uwa and the Kingdom of Mmuo has broken out. To get the edge over his enemies, the King of Uwa decides to send a gift to Mmuo court in the form of a bride (she can be a lioness or even a hybrid if you choose).

The twist: she is a spy. Now she must navigate both her marriage to the Prince of Mmuo while trying to maintain her duties to Uwa--for if she doesn't complete them her parents and siblings are at risk.

Meanwhile the Prince must acclimate to his new bride and they must build their relationship, while strange whispers float around the court regarding the succession. Enemies crop up around every corner, and even the King seems to become ever more paranoid and suspicious of his loyal heir, who simply wants the answered to questions of heritage, law and blood.
