We all still die

Prologue
Thick, dark clouds covered the stars. Rain pounded on the green grass like a waterfall. Leaves swirled into the air, carried away with the cold wind. In a large hollow stood a lonely bush. Two cats sheltered inside from the storm that raged outside. They crouched close together, pelts brushing. “Do you think they’ll come, Redfeather?” A black, long-limbed tom asked, peering out into the darkness. “I don’t know, Spiderleap.” The reddish-brown she-cat replied. At the same moment, three cats bolted down into the hollow. They rushed into the bush, pushing Redfeather and Spiderleap to the wall of the bush. “Why are we meeting here? This place is cramped!” A ginger tom with golden eyes growled. “Peace, Goldengrass.” A large silver-grey tabby mewed as she sat down beside Spiderleap. The third cat shook his black and white fur. “Why are we here?” He asked, straightening his whiskers. Redfeather sat up. “You know that very well, Badgerblaze.” She murmured, looking down at his paws. Badgerblaze glared at her, flicking his tail. “These are not our problems. Thunder, River, Wind and Shadow should figure this out. These are their clans.” He mewed, his deep voice rumbling in his throat. “The clans are being wiped out, Badgerblaze. The creators of our clans won’t do anything.” The tabby mewed, her green eyes blazing in the gloom. “Minnowstep is right. The fate of the clans are in our paws. We need to notify the medicine cats.” Spiderleap spoke for the first time. Redfeather, Spiderleap’s mate, nodded. Thunder rolled off in a distance. “The clans are not helpless. They’ve faced bigger threats than these. These are just foxes and rogues.” Goldengrass mewed, flicking his tail angrily. “The foxes have been breeding more than ever. The territories are full with them.” Redfeather mewed. “They are just foxes, it’s easy to drive them out.” Badgerblaze snorted. Spiderleap glared at him. “Do you remember when the badgers attacked Thunderclan? The foxes are in much greater numbers. If the badgers killed two cats, how many do you think the foxes will kill?” Minnowstep growled, her fur bushing up. “They’re not in groups like the badgers.” Goldengrass pointed out. “True, but who knows what they might do?” Spiderleap mewed, still crouching. “The foxes are not the only problem. The rogues are becoming bolder. They’re trespassing far too often, more frequently too. They’re becoming vicious. They are a clan, they are the real threat we should be worried about.” Badgerblaze growled, his fur bushing up so the huge warrior looked even bigger. “But the clans know about both of these threats. Why do we need to talk to the medicine cats or the leaders?” Goldengrass asked, his eyes scanning the cats in front of him. The cats fell silent. “We need to give them advice.” Spiderleap murmured, looking down at the ground. “But you know about the decease, don’t you?” Minnowstep, the former Riverclan medicine cat asked. The cats looked at her. “No.” Badgerblaze mewed. “There is a terrible decease coming up. It will spread through the clans like a fire through a forest. The clans have never experienced it, so the medicine cats won’t have a cure.” Minnowstep mewed, shuddering. “Great Starclan.” Redfeather whispered. “We need to talk to the medicine cats on the next half moon.” Spiderleap mewed, sitting up. Badgerblaze and Goldengrass nodded. “I’ll notify Shadowclan.” Goldengrass mewed, lashing his tail. “I’ll talk to the medicine cat of Thunderclan.” Badgerblaze mewed, nodding to no one in particular. “I’ll talk to Windclan.” Spiderleap murmured. “And I’ll talk to Riverclan.” Minnowstep mewed.

Plot
Foxes and rogues are massing up. The foxes are so many that a patrol will most likely find at least one, either inside or outside the territory, in every patrol. Many cats won’t go out unnecessarily in fear of meeting rogues. The patrols always have to have at least 5 cats.
Then there is the decease. It will soon come up in both Riverclan and Thunderclan. The medicine cats will not be able to find a cure for a long time.

Ω Leader Ω
Cloudstar∆32 moons∆A large female with a lot of muscle hidden under a gorgeous two toned gray coat, that is medium length, except her tail is a little puffier. Stunning bright blue eyes, that catches everyone's attention when they see them. She does have very odd spots of white on her tail, which are actually over her scars from an attack from a dog when she was an apprentice. There is a small spot toward the tip, where no hair grew back, but it's disguised by the puffiness of her tail. She also has a scar on the bottom of her right back paw pad, and a small nick on her nose, from play fighting with her brother when they were apprentices.

His coat is a deep rich cream colour, a dark black gradient fading up from his paws and down his tail. His face is a mask of black as well, with very vivid cerulean blue eyes. His very large, pointed black ears are always pricked forward and alert. It's quite clear from his unique markings and vibrant eye colour that he is of purebred descent, undeniably Siamese.

Ω Medicine cat apprentice Ω
Hazelpaw∆11 moons∆A pale mottled tom, with pale hazel eyes. His fur is always messy, and tends to stick out at odd angles. He's a tad on the smaller side, and has short whiskers that curl towards himself at the end.

Leafstorm∆30 moons∆Slender and feminine in form, but with an impressive amount of lean muscle beneath her coat from intensive training. She has a dark brown tabby coat, her markings black stripes and rosettes that fade into a gradient down her legs. Her eyes are a clear shade of sage green, always glittering with the hint of a challenge. On her front left leg are a series of raw pink scars where no fur grew back, and she has a v-shaped knick on one ear.

More information about Riverclan! Read this, please!
Thanks. Anyways, you cannot sign up for Riverclan. I've created NCLs for the clan which we can all play. (Except Fennelstar, I will play her.)
Fennelstar is a very snarky cat that will create something big out of something small. She uses every opportunity to attack another clan and does not give mercy easily. She is very fast, so her fighting is mostly based on agility, speed and outwitting.
Mouseclaw is a lot like his leader. (He's kind of like Blackstar when he was Blackfoot.) He is a huge cat and fights and moves a lot like Tigerstar.
Rainsong is a very kind medicine cat, but unlike any other, she does have the guts to stand up against her leader.
Then we can all choose personalities for the rest in the moment of need.

Cloudstar~32 moons~F~Shadowclan~
I gave a yawn, and the familiar figure by me slowly faded. I sighed and finally opened my eyes. I blinked a few times as my eyes adjusted to the darkness. My brother came nightly to lay by me at night, though Starclan is probably not happy about it. I slowly pulled myself out of my nest, stretching as I did. I squinted my eyes as I walked out of my den, before sitting out side of it, and looking around the camp. The morning patrol would be going out soon.

BLUEBIRD | MALE | SHADOWCLAN MEDICINE CAT

The air was still cold and crisp by the time the tomcat managed to uncurl himself from his nest and stretch out his front limbs. He was always an early riser; he had to ensure everything was in order incase of chaos, of course, and he was far from fond of disorganization. He paused to groom his uniquely-coloured coat, disheveled from tossing and turning in the night, before he busied himself with counting inventory. The perfect amount of poppy seeds, just enough bindweed, but.. He paused, the siamese tom frowning deeply. Where was the rest of the blackberry leaves? He flattened his ears and shook his head. I'll need to ensure my apprentice knows to grab more next time. He sighed dryly before the sound of pawsteps came to his ears and he shifted around, looking up as a cat entered his den.

LEAFSTORM | FEMALE | SHADOWCLAN WARRIOR

Mentions: Cloudstar

"Oh, for StarClan's sake!" Blood unrelentingly welled up on the most tender part of the she-cat's pawpad, the result of stepping on a thorn that just had to have been in her way. The first glimpses of dawn had woken Leafstorm up, eager to stretch her limbs and complete the duty she was assigned to do; to lead the day's first patrol. She thrust herself into the medicine cat's den, wordlessly extending a paw to Bluebird's view, "I need this removed and bandaged, immediately. I have so much to do!" She growled irritably, her tail lashing behind her. Cloudstar wouldn't appreciate her being late with the patrol.

Shadestorm | Tom | 39 Moons | Deputy | ShadowClan
-
Mentions: Cloudstar

The large gray and black tom had been lounging lazily in the early morning sunlight as he waited for the rest of the Clan to awaken. Despite his tendencies to lay around camp when there was nothing else to do no one could ever excuse the deputy of sleeping in. Shadestorm was always an early riser. The sight of Cloudstar leaving her den had the longfurred cat pushing himself back up to his paws before approaching her with a respectful dip of his head. "Good morning Cloudstar. You slept well I hope?"

-----

Boulder | Tom | 40 Moons | Warrior | ShadowClan
-
Mentions: Bluebird, Leafstorm

Boulder yawned as bright, morning light filtered into the small den were he was assigned to stay the night. He stretched out each leg in turn before padding back out into camp, sitting down at the center and curling his tail around his front paws as he waited for further instructions. The tom had not yet been accepted as a full warrior of ShadowClan and thus was not allowed to do anything without supervision or even sleep in the warrior's den with the others. It didn't bother him much. He was still a stranger to these cats and had once fought against them with the other rogues. Boulder hadn't expected a warm welcome when he asked to join. The sight of Leafstorm limping into Bluebird's den had the stocky brown tom staring after her, ears flicking as he picked up bits and pieces of their conversation, but didn't intrude.

BLUEBIRD | MALE | SHADOWCLAN MEDICINE CAT

Mentions: Leafstorm, Hazelpaw

The sight of the lean tabby she-cat made his frown deepen. She was as ill-tempered and annoyingly dutiful as ever. Wrinkling his nose, he craned his head back to more thoroughly examine the wound. The thorn was deeply embedded but nothing to make a huff about. I swear, every feline who's stepped on a thorn comes to me as if they're suffering a fatality! "Hold still," He meows, and without giving her time to respond, he gingerly snaps his side canine teeth over the thorn and plucks it out expertly, spitting it to the side of the den. With annoyance, he notices the blood continuing the flow and he turns, rifling through his supplies before turning back to her again with a wad of cobwebs in his mouth, "There, there great warrior. Hold that to your wound and you will survive." He offers the warrior she-cat some humour. It's clear from her expression she isn't interested in it. His frown returning to his face, he continues, "If you need anything for the pain later, come by and I'll get Hazelpaw to fetch you something."

LEAFSTORM | FEMALE | SHADOWCLAN WARRIOR

Mentions: Bluebird, Boulder

"Foxdung!" A snarl escapes her jaw as the siamese tom removes the thorn. Leafstorm is typically a very durable feline, but when it comes to injuries on her rather sensitive paws, she's notorious for complaining. She stares back at the medicine cat dryly, before grabbing the cobwebs and getting to her feet. "Uh huh... thanks, Bluebird." Pesky medicine cat, trying to offer her some humour- this was serious, there was work to be done and she couldn't sit around and tell jokes. She emerged back into the main camp, her leaf-green eyes scouting the scenery before halting on a familiar, yet at the same time unfamiliar face. She knew him as Boulder, a former rogue who had joined the ranks and for the most part kept to himself. She hadn't spoken to him before, nor did she find herself wanting to. She didn't trust outsiders, and an outsider is still how she viewed this tomcat. He had to prove himself.. and to do that, he had to get involved. Lifting her chin up high, the tabby-striped she-cat sauntered over, halting in front of Boulder. She remained quiet for several moments, looking him over, before giving him a nod in greeting, "Boulder, is it? I don't believe we've had the opportunity to acquaint ourselves. My name is Leafstorm, and it just so happens that I'm looking for another cat to join my morning patrol. It doesn't look like you're very busy.." Her whiskers twitched with playful amusement, "What do you say about joining me?"

Cloudstar~32 moons~F~Shadowclan~
MENTIONS: SHADESTORM
I returned a small nod to the deputy, "I did, thank you. I hope you did as well." Yes my deputy likes to lounge around, but he gets his jobs done. I watched as Leafstorm reemerged from the medicine cat den. "The morning patrol, I want the apprentice on it and send them to Thunderclan boarder first. We don't want them to think our next generation is afraid of them." I instructed as I worked my claws into the ground at the thought of fear. "We don't need to worry about Riverclan as much with it being newleaf. The uprights are visiting more, and we know that means less threat to that border. But send a hunting party that way. Show them we have enough food and are strong." I suggested as I continued to observe camp. "And may I request you stop by the warrior den and reiterate what will happen if a patrol goes out late again?" I said with a slight smile, that my clan knew I used when I was irritated. "Why, I'll even accompany you. The kill pile is that way, anyway."

Fernpaw, Timberpaw Wingshade Ω She-cat, she-cat and tom Ω Mentions: Talonpaw, Goldleaf, Thrushpaw.

Fernpaw sprang up as she felt something crawling through her fur. She yowled in surprise and bucked in the apprentices' den, stepping on Thrushpaw's tail. Timberpaw yowled in laughter as he watched his sister crawl and roll around in attempt to get rid of the beetles in her fur. He'd sneaked out that night, and gone to get some beetles. He'd returned with a moss crawling with those little creatures, and then put the moss in his sister's nest. "I'll kill you!" Fernpaw screeched before she flung herself at him. Timberpaw neatly rolled out of her way and sprinted through the entrance. He whipped his head around to see Fernpaw pushing out of it. "I'm sorry!" Timberpaw mewed, leaping back as she strode over to him. Fernpaw glared at him before running to a large puddle from tonight's rain. She hated water but she needed to get the beetles out of her fur. She shivered and clenched her teeth as she rolled around in the puddle. Water seeped through her fur and chilled her to the bone. Timberpaw trotted over to her, a smug expression on his face. She stood up and slumped out of the puddle. Water dripped of her like rain, and she shivered. "I'll get you back, you can be sure about that." Fernpaw snarled before shaking her pelt. Timberpaw leaped away and wrinkled his nose. "Hey, stop that! I'm not a Riverclan cat." Timberpaw mewed. Fernpaw glanced to the other side of the clearing. Glaring at him, she whipped around and stalked over to the Warriors' den. This will show him! She growled inwardly. Timberpaw stared at her as she brushed past him. "Where are you going?" He asked, not managing to keep the dread out of his voice. Fernpaw didn't answer. He bounded after her. "Fernpaw? What are you doing?" He asked just before she pushed into the warriors' den. She prodded the jet-black she-cat. "Wingshade?" She whispered. She didn't want to wake up the other warriors. Thistlefang was as grumpy as a badger in the morning. "Wingshade, can you please wake up?" She whispered. She felt nervousness rising up inside her. This is a bad idea. Wingshade groggily opened an eye. "What do you want?" She grumbled. "It's predawn." Fernpaw whispered. Wingshade now opened both eyes and reluctantly sat up. "Great Starclan, Fernpaw. What happened to you?" She whispered, staring at the apprentice. "Timberpaw." Fernpaw replied. A spark of triumph flared up inside her as her brother's mentor frowned. "Go see Goldleaf. We don't want you getting cold." Wingshade murmured before rising up and brushing through the entrance.
Timberpaw stared as Wingshade strode towards him. "He-hello, Wingshade." He mewed, trying to keep the cool. She sat down against him, wrapping her tail over her white paws. "You know, I was going to go battle training with you today. But, ah, I guess I'll just train with Talonpaw or some of the other apprentices then." She murmured. Timberpaw scowled at her. He knew she was trying to annoy him and make him feel bad. He glared at his sister, who stood behind his mentor with a smug look on her face. "You have two choices. Either clean the elders' den, and look for their ticks, or help Goldleaf in the medicine den. I'm sure he would like some help. Timberpaw groaned. "Fine, I'll go to see Goldleaf." He grumbled and stood up.

Timberpaw Ω Tom Ω Mentions: Goldleaf.

Timberpaw stepped into the medicine den. Bitter smells washed over him. His eyes scanned the den. I don't get it. How can Goldleaf even put up to this? He thought as he padded warily over to Goldleaf's nest. I could never be a medicine cat. He prodded Goldleaf lightly in the ribs. "Goldleaf? Sorry to wake you up, but Wingshade told me that I should help you with the medicine cat duties today." He mewed, stepping back again.

Fernpaw Ω She-cat Ω Mentions: Goldleaf

Fernpaw watched after her brother as he padded to the medicine den. That teaches you not to mess with me.
She'd told Wingshade about what Timberpaw had done before she'd gone out. Then she remembered, she had to go to Goldleaf too. She bounded after her brother. "Hi, Goldleaf!" She mewed, stopping just beside his nest and leaning over him. "Timberpaw put beetles in my nest, so I washed them off by rolling around in the puddle outside. It was very cold and Wingshade said I must go to you so I wouldn't catch cold." She poured out, still leaning over Goldleaf.

Wingshade Ω She-cat Ω Mentions: Nightstripe, Talonpaw, along with almost the whole of Thunderclan.

Wingshade sighed as she watched the two apprentices scamper off to Goldleaf's den. These two will never stop getting into trouble. She thought before turning around. She needed to order some patrols. Worry pricked her like thorns. She needed to put very many cats on each patrol. They couldn't risk injuries now. Nighstripe could lead the dawn patrol, and take Thistlefang, Dappledwillow, Talonpaw and Sootpaw. She thought as she trotted to the warriors' den again. She brushed through the entrance. She prodded Nightstripe in the ribs. "I need you to lead the dawn patrol. Take Thistlefang, Dappledwillow, Talonpaw and Sootpaw." Wingshade mewed before waking up Burrowcloud and Deerfall. I guess I need to lead the hunting patrol. She thought as she woke up the rest of the warriors. They needed every cat out hunting or patrolling the borders. She decided to take Fernpaw, Thrushpaw, Deerfall and Burrowcloud.

Shadestorm | Tom | 39 Moons | Deputy | ShadowClan
-
Mentions: Cloudstar, Leafstorm

"Of course," he replied in answer, both to her inquiring if he'd slept well and to all of her orders. His whiskers twitched in amusement at that last one and he moved to follow her to the warrior's den. "There are so few of us now. It's hard for our remaining warriors to handle all of their duties," he reminded her gently. "Instances of oversleeping are bound to happen. Our cats are exhausted," he finished grimly. Upon spotting Leafstorm with Boulder he noticed she had just left the medicine cat's den and paused for a moment to speak with her. "Leafstorm, are you alright? Will you still be able to lead the dawn patrol?"

Boulder | Tom | 40 Moons | Warrior | ShadowClan
-
Mentions: Leafstorm

"That's me," Boulder confirmed when Leafstorm approached him. Her asking if he'd like to join her patrol had the brown tom immeditly standing back up. Finally, something to do. "Of course," he agreed. Glad he wouldn't be stuck in camp handling apprentice duties today. It wasn't as if he minded changing bedding or picking ticks off elders. It was important work that needed to be done, but he was eager to prove himself a loyal and worthy warrior. Could he really do that if he never got the chance to join a patrol? When the deputy stopped to have a word with Leafstorm he fell silent, allowing the two to converse without interruption.

Nightstripe | She-Cat | 15 Moons | Warrior | ThunderClan
-
Mentions: Wingshade

Nightstripe grunted as she was prodded in the ribs, golden eyes opening blearily to peer up at Wingshade. She instantly began bristling, but forced her fur to lie flat a moment later as she got out of her nest and shook out her short coat. "Yes, Wingshade. I'll get right on that," she replied politely, though her voice was somewhat icy. Nightstripe found it hard to trust Wingshade after the stories she'd heard about her. How a cat who had murdered her own father had gotten to be Clan deputy she would never know. As an apprentice Nightstripe had been terrified of her and avoided the other darkfurred she-cat whenever possible. As a young warrior she learned behavior like that was neither mature or appropriate. She would obey the deputy, but she didn't have to like or trust her as far as she was concerned. She walked around Wingshade and squeezed through the den entrance. Looking around for the warriors who would accompany her.

LEAFSTORM | FEMALE | 30 MOONS | SHADOWCLAN WARRIOR

Mentions: Cloudstar, Shadestorm, Boulder

She examined his expression carefully upon agreeing. She wanted to continue to be cautious of this brown tomcat, especially considering she was about to escort him out into their territory without much back-up. Boulder seemed nothing more than eager and willing to serve some purpose, devoid of any suspicious mannerisms. She nodded approvingly, "Good, I can't say I'll mind the company." With the clan having dwindled in numbers, each patrol sent out was becoming increasingly smaller. There were occasions where Leafstorm was sent out on patrol with just herself and one other senior warrior. She flattened her ears grimly at the thought, before perking them again at the sound of a masculine voice. She turned to meet the pale yellow eyes of the deputy, Shadestorm, with Cloudstar halted at the large tomcat's side. "Greetings Shadestorm, Cloudstar," She dipped her head respectfully, taking on a formal tone, "I'm okay, thank you." She paused, her green eyes narrowing to hide her sheepish expression, "My intentions were not to be late, I assure you, but I stepped on a thorn while exiting the Warrior's Den. It caused me discomfort so I briefly stopped by Bluebird's den to have it removed. I'm ready to leave camp now though, however." What a noble, menacing warrior I must sound like, interrupted in my duties by stepping on a thorn! Ugh. She nodded slightly, "I'll bring the apprentices along with me on my patrol, and I've just offered Boulder a spot in my patrol. I figure he'd be more useful if he actually became accustomed to our lands." Her words were a playful tease, though she never broke her formal stance towards the leader and the deputy. She would never show a lack of respect towards them.

Cloudstar~32 moons~F~Shadowclan
MENTIONS: SHADESTROM & LEAFSTORM
"That is true. We might need to recruit more rogues..." I trailed, slightly disgusted with the thought that we would need to do such a thing, but if it's what has to be done, then it's what must be done. I stayed silent as Shadestorm talked with Leafstorm, returning the slightest of nodes to the warrior. "I want at least one more warrior with you then. Training two about the terrain will be difficult to do, especially when you're teaching them the boarders and how to patrol them." I instructed. I listened as the young warrior explained herself. I can't say much about age myself. "Things happen that we cannot control." I nodded. I may not like disorder in my clan, but I do give credit where it is due. "Have the apprentice clean up around that area when you return. Don't need more of my warriors walking around with sore pads." I instructed gingerly, since the young warrior probably already knew to do so. "I would like to talk more about the issue later." I said softly to my deputy, before giving a nod to excuse myself before going to the prey pile and picking up an okay size frog from the pile.

Goldleaf // Medicine Cat // Thunderclan // Mentions: Timberpaw, Fernpaw

Goldleaf awoke to somebody prodding his ribs, his amber eyes slowly opening. Seeing Timberpaw, he pushed himself up to a sitting position with a yawn. "Hello, Timberpaw. Why were you sent h-" Before the medicine cat could finish his sentence, Fernpaw came bounding into the den, surprising him slightly. His ears would prick up as the young apprentice spoke, and at the mention of beetles, his gaze would turn back to Timberpaw with a disapproving look. He'd shake his head at him before standing up, swishing his tail. "I wouldn't worry about it Fernpaw, if you lick your fur the wrong way it'll help. It may feel uncomfortable, but it'll help you warm up." He told her calmly. "As for you, Timberpaw, you can help me sort through the herbs." He pointed his tail over to where he kept his herbs. "I would like you to check all the herbs, and if you spot any that are old or damaged, put them aside. I'll dispose of them later." He said before looking over the herb stocks. 'I'm going to need to get some more catmint later.' He thought with a small sigh. He didn't have too many herbs at the moment, so Timberpaw wouldn't have to take too long.

(Sorry if this isn't very good, I just got back from classes)

((I'll add my other characters later when more people are in here. My intros tend to suck if I don't have someone else to go off of first. >-> I'm also having some laptop troubles, which will hopefully be fixed later tonight.))

Shadestorm | Tom | 39 Moons | Deputy | ShadowClan
-
Mentions: Cloudstar, Leafstorm, Deadstride, Hazelpaw, Bluebird

"I think that's a good idea," Shadestorm nodded approvingly at Leafstorm's choice to bring Boulder along. He wasn't sure he trusted the brown tom just yet, but they were currently lacking in the warriors department. He should be given a chance to prove himself. "Keep an eye on that pawpad Leafstorm. Don't hesitate to return to Bluebird or Hazelpaw later if you need to and remember to keep it clean. We can't afford to have you off your paws due to infection." Goodness, he must sound like a medicine cat now. "Good luck and be safe. As for you third warrior, take Deadstride with you." He nodded to Cloudstar as she took her leave and moved on himself to gather a hunting patrol. Spotting Amberberry leaving the warrior's den he headed in her direction.

((Amberberry is an NPC, but I'll play her as needed for the time-being. If you don't mind it LORDBLUE he's probably going to ask Bluebird along as well. I know he's a med. cat, but desperate times call for desperate measures. Perhaps Cloudstar herself or Hazelpaw could tag along with a patrol as well? I didn't really realize how short of warriors we were until now.))

Boulder | Tom | 40 Moons | Warrior | ShadowClan
-
Mentions: Leafstorm, Cloudstar, Deadstride

Boulder waited until both Cloudstar and Shadestorm had walked off before turning his attention back to Leafstorm. "Shall we go find Deadstride then?" He asked calmly. He hadn't seen the other tom since he'd left his own den. Perhaps he was still sleeping. A feeling of alarm washed over him momentarily as he wondered if Deadstride had left camp already. He certainly hoped not. It was dangerous for a single cat to wander alone.

Vultureflight | Tom | 24 Moons | Warrior | ThunderClan
-
Mentions: Wingshade, Goldleaf, Buzzardtail, Talonpaw

Vultureflight's head lifted as he watched the exchange between Nightstripe and Wingshade. He yawned loudly and gave his brother a gentle kick on the flank to wake him before getting up, trotting towards the den entrance. "Mornin' Wingshade, looking good as always!" He meowed with a wink before pushing out into camp. He didn't dwell for long as he figured the deputy would take the opportunity to give give him some duty. He wasn't really feeling up to taking orders today. He did a brief sweep of camp in search of Talonpaw, but couldn't spot the gray apprentice anywhere. He shrugged, assuming he was still asleep and padded over to the medicine cat's den, poking his head inside. "Hey Goldleaf. Do you need help with anything today?" He asked curiously. Today was a lazy day he decided. He'd rather help the medicine cat than go on a border or hunting patrol if he could help it.

((These replies stuck today I'm so sorry. >_> They'll be better once I can actually type normally again.))

Cloudstar~32 moons~F~Shadowclan~
MENTIONS: SHADESTORM
I laid dow with my frog. "Shadestorm." I called, before taking a small bite of my frog. "Send one more warrior with the boarder patrol. That should be enough to convince Thunderclan. Then I'll join a hunting patrol that will go out soon. It would be better that way. A leader in a boarder patrol may give the wrong message." I explained. I worked my claw into the frog as I took another bite. Showing we lack warriors to the point of sending the leader is not a image I want my clan to hold. And it would be easy to misinterpret it as a possible scouting or raid. We don't need that with as few warriors as we have. I held in a sigh as I continued to eat.

Talonpaw || 8 Moons || Apprentice || Thunderclan
Mentions -Vultureflight (indirectly)

Talonpaw crouched low keeping his eyes fixated at the slight movements in the bush just in front of him. It was a small prey, smelling distinctly of earth, and he felt his fur bristle with excitement. It must be a mouse, it couldn't be anything else! If he could just manage to bring it back... Strictly, he wasn't supposed to leave the den areas on his own, but he was just outside, and if his mentor saw him bringing back something all on his own... Encouraged by the thought, he focused on the now still bush again, and crept closer ever so slowly. 20 pawsteps.... 16 pawsteps... the bush moved again, and he froze momentarily. 12 pawsteps.... crack!

Talonpaw nearly jumped out of his skin at the snapping twig- the sound seemed almost deafening due to his immense focus that had blocked out everything else. A tiny squeak sounded from the bush along with abrupt, violent shaking. No, don't leave! his paws were in a very wrong position to leap, but the threat of his prey escaping had him throw away all carefulness; he bounded into the bush and swiped his claws wildly around himself.
And uttered an abrupt yowl of pain as he immediately jumped back from the hedgehog that was curled in a ball on the ground.

His paws ached as if... as if he had stepped on a hedgehog, which was in fact the exact thing he had done. His ears laid flat as he snarled at the hedgehog and batted it, making it roll around. He finished it off with a single furious bite and picked it up, though he almost considered leaving it for the pain it had inflicted him.
"I could have injured myself because of you!" he mumbled angrily to it as he half-carried, half-dragged the limp form out from the bushes and into the camp. Though his sore paw was soon forgotten as his accomplishment dawned upon him- he had done it! he had managed to bring back food!

(That's totally okay with me, Topaz!)

LEAFSTORM | FEMALE | 30 MOONS | SHADOWCLAN WARRIOR

Mentions: Boulder, Shadestorm, Deadstride

She nodded at the deputy's words, flexing her pawpads against the earth. A thick layer of cobweb was coated on the injured area to avoid any dirt seeping into the wound. She could only imagine what would happen if she was nest-ridden; the loss of any more Warrior's would certainly make them vulnerable. The clans around them had been quiet.. too quiet for comfort. She knew it wasn't wise to let her mind wander out of paranoia, but this felt like the quiet before the storm. "Thank you, Shadestorm. I'll keep your words in mind. I'll report back to you our findings when we return." She glanced towards the camp exit with a distant look in her eyes. Let's hope our findings are nothing out of the ordinary.

Pulling herself out of her grim thoughts, her green orbs flickered back to Boulder. "Yes, that would likely be a good start, hm?" She pushed herself back onto all fours and turned around, flicking her tail at Boulder to follow, "So this will be your first time out and about in our territory? I've got to say, what an unfortunate time for this to be your opening tour. We've got to remain alert and on our toes; these times are dark ones and we don't have much time for relaxation. At least it's a nice day," She thought aloud, glancing up at the sun beginning to rise in the sky. Warmth filtered out from the Warrior's den as they approached it, filled with sleeping bodies, "Deadstride?" She meowed, glancing off into the darkness of the den. She sat down momentarily, the tip of her tail twitching impatiently as she waited for a response, "You're needed to join our border patrol. Please, take your time," She added in sarcastically.

BLUEBIRD | MALE | SHADOWCLAN MEDICINE CAT

Mentions: Hazelpaw

The den was empty and terribly quiet once the tabby she-cat exited, leaving Bluebird to attend to his organization. He sighed and glanced out into the camp, his ears twitching as he caught snippets of the other cat's conversations, "Not many cats to go around," He mumbled to himself, nodding at Hazelpaw, "As much as I'd want to keep you here to help me out for the day, you might be asked out on a hunting party." He frowned, figuring that he would be ordered to join the hunting patrol as well. He rather disliked leaving the camp unless it was to gather more herbs and remedies.

Deadstride||Male||Shadowclan Warrior||24 moons
--
Location: Shadowclan Camp|| Mentions: Boulder and Leafstorm

Stretching out his lanky body, he gazed around the Warriors Den in a groggy haze. Stifling a sigh, and pushing himself to a sitting position he began to groom his tussled fur. He had, had a rough night tossing and turning. Quietly watching most of the other warriors leave the den without even commenting good morning, had him almost shrinking in size. Shrugging halfheartedly to himself he stood and made his way out of the den. Freezing at the sound of his name, he turned his orange eyes to stare at Boulder with scared eyes. Why in the world was the new cat saying his name? Oh no, had he done something wrong? Had Leafstorm told Boulder something about Deadstride that made the tom hate him already? What? Why would she do that?

Hazelpaw||Male||Shadowclan's Medicine Cat Apprentice||11 moons
--
Location: Shadowclan Camp > Medicine Cat Den|| Mentions: Bluebird and slight mention of Leafstorm

Pale hazel eyes watched the warrior limp into the Medicine Cat den with a venomous stare. Oh sob sob, you stepped on a thorn. he thought, continuously glaring at the she cat till she left the den. Turning his eyes to Bluebird then, he tipped his head to the side. "Bluebird, why do warrior's come limping in here crying over stepping on a thorn?" he asked, a small frown on his face. "I mean, it's not as if it hurts as bad as getting your tail ripped off." blinking wildly at his mentor he gave an angry snort. "I can't hunt, what are you talking about?"

Frostrose||Female||Windclan Deputy||40 moons
--
Location: Windclan Camp|| Mentions: [Open to interaction]

Frostrose gazed around the quiet Windclan camp, blue eyes wide and full of innocent sparkles. Tail twitching impatiently to send out patrols. Uuuugh, even Lionstar wasn't up yet. Ok, so she may have gotten up really early to send out these patrols, but this is getting ridiculous.

Buzzardtail||Male||Thunderclan Warrior||24 moons
--
Location: Thunderclan Camp || Mentions: Vultureflight

Blinking awake blearily, he watched the form of his brother walk out of the den. Ah, right it's time to get up. Giving a small frown, he pushed himself to his paws and stumbled out of the warriors den, trailing the other snowshoe tom. Rather than following Vulture to the Medicine Cat Den, he stopped near Wingshade. "Good morning, Wingshade." he rumbled, voice deep, and partially raspy from sleep. "Sorry about my brother." he murmured to the Deputy. "Do you have any plans for me and Fernpaw today?" he asked, tipping his head to the side, yet quickly he lifting back up.
