Okay, so my king on my main account I realised has just turned 14 years and 1 month old. He is part of my aim to breed my dream boy but the thing is my girls are refusing to produce cubs with his markings and the marking(s) from herself that I need to merge onto one cub. I am running out of time and I fear that my king will die before I can get to the next step of breeding my dream boy.

So I have two ideas to solve this problem.

Idea 1: Breeding Item.

I think it would be a great idea to have an item that would allow you to basically choose the appearance for one cub in one litter ( - I think a good way of weighing this out is that you can only get 1 cub in the litter in which the item is used). Base colour, mane type, mane colour, nose, markings. You would not be able to choose opacities or any other things that are created for the cub (such as stats, personality, fertility, etc). This would have to be expensive of course, maybe 20 GB, so it doesn't damage the economy. I feel this would also lower the amount of cubs born every day - if for an expensive fee (which would also help Lioden as you'd use real money to buy the GB necessary) you could get the cub you wanted then surely it would be worth it and you wouldn't have to breed so many times for what you want. Of course I also think there should be a limit on how many times you can use the item. Perhaps once a real life year or something like that. As for the cub's appearance you would only be able to choose from the colours, mane types, and such from what the parents have. So for example a cub from an albino white savage maned male with no markings and pink nose, and an onyx russet katanga with 1 - 5 vitiligo markings and coral nose would only be able to have those colours and mane types. The cub could not be a Mahogany with Regal Black mane and all Under White markings.

Idea 2: Life Expectancy item.

Perhaps an item to extend a male's life would be a better idea or an equally good idea. You could only extend it by a month at a time perhaps, limiting its use, and it would cost GB of course. This would give you an extra bit of time to hopefully breed the ideal cub. A way of balancing this out could be that one and two cub litters are far more common then normal as the king will be in his old age and thus not as virile as he used to be.

If you have any other ideas to flesh these out or something better to help me solve my problem I'd be happy to hear them.

I want only constructive critisim. There is no point in saying you don't approve, or that it is stupid. That does not help me come up with a better idea or Lioden. It just hurts peoples feelings. If there is something about the ideas you don't like tell me and then add what you'd do differently to make the idea better. Thankyou. =)

So with Idea 1, basically you get a list of the genetic possibilities of the parents and check the options you want in the given categories (base, mane, eyes, etc)? Hm. I'd be intrigued. Basically like 'God's X-Ray Glasses' into the code of how a cub is generated, except you get to meddle and choose which are passed on. I agree it would have to be quite expensive and limited in use. You figure making a Custom Lioness is quite costly and they don't have the benefit of bred stats or rare colors and markings that could, in theory, let you create a Gold Mine cub to sell. You have the right idea with those concerns.

Idea 2 would be the easier method, most likely, and considered more fair. I would support it as an event item and/or extremely rare drop, say a "Veterinary Bag". "You finds a bag dropped by a strange human dressed in a long white hide. Inside are tiny, shiny, colorful droppings. You bite them out of curiosity. They are extremely bitter but they make you feel like a cub again." So, in essence, the lion gets themselves some 'vitamins' (ahem) that make them healthier and extend their life for 1 Lioden year. The event or drop would make them rare and valued, like GMO cows, etc.

Exactly Aratare. You're on the same wave length. The second idea is probably more realistic and more likely to have a chance to be implemented. It could be an item in the poacher's event where the humans trying to counter-act the poacher's nefarious deeds end up dropping the 'veterinary bag' in explore whilst going to rescue of an animal caught in a trap.

Awesome! I'm so glad I've found someone who understands and likes my idea. =D

Its been a while since I've suggested anything. Did you know I was the one who suggested the lion wardrobe idea? I was very surprised when it happened!

Hopefully at least the second idea will be popular.

1: This way, you can get the "perfect" cub a lot sooner. What results later in more very good cubbins. And if there come a lot of good cubbins so easy, than the market will go down a lot!
