My Reasoning
I've been thinking for quite some time that there should be a way to kill lionesses AND send them to the dynasty, before they are 15 years old. I have been counting down the days until some of my lionesses die, because I need the room but want my precious oldies in my dynasty.

So what if there was an Oasis item that could poison your lioness and cause her to die without completely erasing her from Lioden?

Information
I did some research on poisonous plants that are present in Africa (since there's been a lot of discussion lately about the realism of things like Ligers in Africa) and decided that Oleander is a nice fit to be this poisonous item.

This is an Oleander plant. They are toxic when ingested and can cause severe reactions upon external contact as well.

Ideas (feel free to comment with suggestions!)
- Oleander would be an item with one use.
- It would be bought in the Oasis.
- Can only be used on adults. (EDIT: Possible age limit of somewhere between 5-7 years old?)
- Upon use, your lioness would die just as they would have eventually, and would be sent to your dynasty.

"But what about karma?"
Since you paid GB for an item to kill your lioness, perhaps giving you negative karma wouldn't be fair to the players who want to be good. So, I think that karma shouldn't be affected when using this item, to keep it fair for all players of different karma goals.

Possible action text...
"Your lioness came upon a wild flower and ate it, wondering if it was good. Unfortunately, it was an Oleander. The lion has sadly passed away but can still be stored in your dynasty! Go to dynasty?"

(thanks, BritishAce!)

"Hello! I totally support this idea but some people are saying "that is it bad for your king to murder a lioness" maybe when you use it, the message can say:

"Your lioness came upon a wild flower and ate it, seeming it was good. Unfortunately, it was an Oleander. The lion has sadly passed away but can still be stored in your dynasty! Go to dynasty?"

I don't know. The message kind of reminded me of the poisonous plant Hemlock and how some people are it thinking it was another vegetable. But in reality, it was hemlock. Even a single small bite can kill a man"

Would karma be effected?

Hmm... You are still killing the lioness, though. And as her murderer, her memory would not want to stay with you.

I see their records being stored in your dynasty as a reward for keeping them until the very end. Something simple but something one cannot buy. Something one has to work for.
This is a nice way to coax people into playing and logging in instead of giving them the easy way to get what they want.

No support.

But the item would cost GB, so I people who never play or log on are going to spend real money to put a lioness in their dynasty.

Not sure what you mean here. How would the lioness know?

We have all these spiritual stuff going on, especially in this event. The spirits see and know everything.
After killing a lioness before her time, morally it is wrong for her memory to stay with you. You are still aware of your actions and the consequences. You murder the lioness, thus you dont deserve her memory.

Let her live her life to the fullest instead and let her pass on. Then she will stay with you.

Just because some people cannot be on every day doesnt mean we have to make everything easier. Gameplay must be adjusted to the actives and the semi-casuals. They spend the most.

I made a typo in my last post. It was supposed to say
"But the item would cost GB, so I highly doubt people who never play or log on are going to spend real money to put a lioness in their dynasty."
I must have deleted a little section of it without noticing. Hopefully my post makes more sense now.

Freezing cubs/lions isn't very moral either.

And how come the shamans are asking me to do things for them if my king kills everything it comes across in explore? Why would they reward me for bringing them herbs when I slaughter white lions and make items out of their skin?
The point is, we could sit here and pick apart every single piece of this game and find a way to poke holes in all of it.
The game can't only reward the good lions.

Hmm.....I like this. Definitely interesting. Certainly something I would use. Would it make the lioness not appear old in the Dynasty? Because that would be great. Thank you for making this! I hope this becomes a thing.

I would assume so, if she was young enough to not have the extreme age wrinkles of naturally-dying lionesses.

And no problem, I've been wanting an item like this for so long, haha!

maybe an age limit on how old the lioness would have to be? I am not sure it should be able to be used on a 2 year old lioness.

Perhaps 7 or 8 years would be good? Possibly six?

OK, I'll be honest. I ADORE this idea and come on here at least once a day to bump it. I really hope this will be added.

I agree. Six or seven years seems appropriate. I'll add that!

And thanks, Athene!! :)

Not a bad idea, there's not really any way it could be abused that I can see right now. I guess morally it sounds bad to be poisoning your lioness, and it would be a GB item probably not used as much since most players want their lionesses alive for breeding and hunting XD

pledging my support :3

I usually am against these "I don't want to wait" suggestions, but if it costs GB, well, why not, it may, maybe, brings more money to the website ?

Support. I know on occasion I've lost interest in a lioness or two and wanted to give them the boot but didn't want their records to disappear for lineage reasons (I like to keep track of pride relations) so I was stuck waiting until they grew old and died. X3
