These cats aren't like the clans we know of. These cats have wings and function different from regular cats in some ways. Cats in these clans have 'ruling families' as it were, and sometimes go generations before completely new blood will take over. The kin [mate/kits] of the Leader are often treated as 'royal family members' would as well, While having not much power, they're still generally respected as higher rank than regular warriors. The deputy is still treated as second-in-command and works alongside the leader when needed. Siblings/Parents of the leader are considered part of the family but have no real status.
Leaders of the clans also do not receive 9 lives. Their ancestors took that away a long time ago, believing it's for the best.
Their customs also differ, given how different they are already. Now, NONE of these cats have wings that allow them to stay in the air ALL day. Also take note cats hardly ever invade from the sky over disputes as The eagles and trees are more of a pain for the clans than anything. that and camps are generally well hidden and hard to find.

.:L I G H T C L A N:.
-Appearance:
The cats of LightClan are muscular and strong with short, thick, coats and wings that are often average or larger sized. They are generally more stocky in build and strong cats built for strength and power.

-Territory/Camp:
LightClan has built it's huge camp in a clearing surrounded with huge oak trees. The leaders den is in the front of camp inside the hollowed inside of the oldest tree. The Warriors and Apprentices build their nests anywhere in the trees that would be around the center of camp with the Medicine Den, Elders Den, and Nursery in the back and on the ground. These three places are the most guarded with brambles and such. LightClan has openings in the leave of the trees and in between trees for escape routes.
To the north of the front entrance of came [beside the leader's den] is a large, rushing river which also serves as a fishing spot and a marker for the edge of the territory. To the right and back of their territory are the best hunting spots for forest creatures, and the left is the training hollow.

.:Unique Customs and Traits:.
-Leaders have first choice in mates and kits. Meaning if a queen has a kit better than the leader's, then the leader can claim the kit as their own.
-Cats are only allowed one mate in their lifetime. Excepts can possibly made, but it's hardly heard of.
-Medicine Cats are chosen by the Leader, Elders [if any], and deputy with input from the previous medicine cat.
-Kits are to be kept grounded until apprentice training, however basic exercises to keep their wings strengthened are expected and occasional hovering is fine.
-Medicine cats are not allowed mates unless they step down permanently.
-Any cat found to be mates with a cat from outside the clan will be put in front of the clan to plead their case, with the deputy/leader/medicine cat to decide their fate, kits included if they have any. Any time a kit is born with wings unlike the rest of the clan is a worry as 90% of the time it's because of a forbidden relationship.

.:Training/Name Customs:.
-Kits begin training around 6 moons mostly so they don't accidentally get squashed. xD
-Apprentices earn their names simply whenever the leader and their mentor agrees they're ready.
-Names [suffixes] are given generally based upon unique traits or appearances.

.:Unique Battle Moves:.
'Wing Hold'- A move where you pin your opponents wings down so they can't fly away.
'Roll'- A move where a cat tucks their wings tight to their body before 'ducking and rolling'. Often used if their opponent is attacking from above.

.:N I G H T C L A N:.
-Appearance:
NightClan cats are often leaner than their LightClan counterparts. They often have lean builds but their thick, fluffy coats make them appear larger. Their wings are not as soft and feathery as LightClan cat wings, but are more bat-like in shape. They are often rather large, and make these cats more agile than LightClan but not as strong.

-Territory/Camp:
NightClan live in a mountainous territory with a harsher environment when talking about weather. They live in between mountains with their main area of camp in a soft, grassy area and dens around it. The Leaders den is at the top of the highest mountain with the Medicine den at the bottom of it. The mountain to the right holds the Nursery with the Elder's Den next to it and the left/front mountains hold the warriors/apprentice dens. The north entrance exits to the bottom of the mountains with large grassy areas with few trees and a river which is a popular fishing area and marks the edge of their territory.
Since their territory is harsh to hunt in, they generally hunt the abundance of animals in the mountains and eagles [similar to the tribe :D]. Training is often done in the main part of camp when the sun is highest in the sky so that the rest of the day can be used for patrols, expansions, tunnels, and resting.

.:Unique Customs and Traits:.
-Leaders are also partly trained as medicine cats, just in case.
-Cats often battle for the spot of deputy, the winner becoming deputy and leader regardless of relations to the current leader or not.
-Mates have to be approved of by the leader before kits can be made and should be scheduled to be born in late new-leaf when possible. This is done to make sure the kits will be strong enough to survive the harsh leaf-bare months.
-Kits are encouraged to practice using their wings as soon as possible and most start very gentle apprentice training soon as well.
-Kits should be kept inside the nursery on heavily snowy, rainy, or cold days.
-While apprentices are assigned a mentor, warriors all help them when they can, much like how all queens help raise the kits.
-Medicine cats are allowed mates here, as long as they keep up with their duties.
-Should a cat be found in a relationship with a cat outside the clan, Said cat shall be banished with any kits it has. Kits may be delivered to LightClan if they are part LightClan or kept and adopted by another queen.
-If a cat is banished, they are considered dead by the clan.

.:Naming/Training Customs:.
-Kits start training fully as early as 4 moons depending on the kit.
-Apprentices earn their names when the leader gives them their final task and they complete it. Sometimes it can take up to a moon or more before it is done.
-Names [suffixes] are given based upon a cat's best strength or unique feature.

.:Unique Battle Moves:.
''Wing Bite'- A move where a cat will launch themselves onto their opponent's back, either biting at their wings to bring pain to their opponent. Often used to distract an opponent.
'Launch'- A move where a cat crouches close to the ground, then gives a powerful flap of their wings while leaping to launch them higher into the hair with extra power.

The only and first kit of LightClan's newest leader has gone missing. LightClan claims that NightClan must have taken them, but NightClan denies this. Unless the kit is found, by the next full moon there will be an all out war between the clans.

Personality:
Strict, Serious, and stern. Smokestar is the type of cat who takes his position very seriously, almost too seriously even. He expects only the best from all of his clan in everything they do and can seem rather un-emotional at times. However his mate and close friends are ones who more often than not see his more gentle side. Smokestar also takes interest in every aspect of clan life, especially that of the kits who he keeps an eye on so he can be positive they will get the best mentor possible.

Fiesty and energetic warrior. Fishwhisker is a cat who's rather prideful in herself, meaning she can be a bit vain and likes making herself pretty. However she has a kind heart and is a rather relaxed, go-with-the-flow type of cat who is known for switching between sweet and snarky throughout the day rather often.

Friendly, but a bit skiddish and quiet. Silverclaw isn't a very forceful cat, often seen as a bit of a doormat, but he's friendly enough and has a good heart. He's a wiz with herbs and is a natural medicine cat in every sense of the word.
