Hey there everyone! I'm thinking about making it based off the SAO anime. But I'm doing an interest check! This will be large scale, with multiple guilds, multiple RPing threads. This will be a upper-semi-literate to literate RP. I expect proper flow of sentences, and at least 2 paragraphs. I'm not looking to post 5+ paragraphs every reply, but if that's what others would like to do then that's not a problem. The minimum is 2 though. *Updated!!* So this RP will be based on Season 1. Meaning the characters will be stuck in the game. I've also been brainstorming with a friend who will be an admin. We are thinking of making this a stat-based thing as well as having levels! You can gain exp and stats through monthly missions and your everyday rp posts! Stats will likely control what bosses/missions you can fight/beat. And levels will control when you can unlock your special skill! Special skills are like Kirito's Duel Wielding and Heithcliff's Holy Sword skill. Skills that are unlocked after a certain level, and specific only to your character. Input on this is appreciated as well, but it's likely that stats/levels will be involved somehow. Updated again! Looking it up it appears SAO only has two stats you can increase, strength and agility, so it's likely those will be out stats as well. *Updated again!* Characters will have two stats they can add to, along with levels, and special skills. There will be twice-monthly mission that you can earn varying amounts of Exp from. There will also be specific missions used to level up Special skills like cooking and fishing! If this turns into as large of a RP scale as I'm hoping, I'll need help with the everyday running of things as well. From checking boards to accepting new members and character forms. I'm also looking for help for setting the site up initially. This means choosing the theme, color scheme, and layout of all the threads. Along with creating the individual RP threads and adding any and all necessary info. So if you're interested in being an admin, please state in your post the reason's you believe you'll be a good admin, or PM them to me. We are not looking for any more admins at this time. Thanks! Very much so interested xD.....as long as its from the Sword Art Online arc >_> After the first arc finished, the series wasnt as good in my opinion and most of the characters were ignored/changed completely (anime biased, most people havent read the light novels). Plus...it would make the rp ten times better if the characters were trapped in a sword game than doing a million other things plus their personal life as well, it wouls make it more confusing. Also-while some people rather to post extremely long replies, others prefer otherwise. Personally, i can reply with multiple paragraphs but i prefer not to. 0 players like this post! Whoo, I love Sword Art Online! (Although the anime was a bit bad after the first season) I certainly think this would be very interesting, and I personally think that it would make the RP better if the characters were just trapped inside of the game. So I have to go with season 1. Long replies are also perfectly fine with me. I can always find something else to throw into my psots. And I'd love to be an admin. I think I would make a good admin because I've been admin of a few other Roleplays, and am fairly good with creating websites(Mainly with proboards). I good at enforcing rules and sometimes even creating them. Other than that, this roleplay seems like it would be a blast! 0 players like this post! Like? |

I absolutely love Sword Art Online XD I'd have to agree with Cape and Cinderblaze though on the Season one thing ^-^ I would most definitely participate in that. I'm fine with long replies, I normally end up replying the same amount as whomever I'm roleplaying with. [However at rough patches, It may be limited to two small paragraphs until things get picked up again...hope thats ok] 0 players like this post! I make sure to have some sort of substance when rping, but i dont always have 2-3 paragraph plus xD for a good idea i like at least 12 lines when on my phone. (My first response here is about that size including the blanks xD. So twelve lines of sentences at least. XD) 0 players like this post! Like? |
