Amity Rose was founded by an elder lady and her husband; both were experienced in Battles and Contests, although each specialized in a different field. They grew the school's reaches and expanded it to what it is today. They left the school in the hands of their Daughter who passed it along toe family line until it reached Evrose from her mother when she was finally done traveling on her journey and ready to plant her roots.
Amity Rose's School of Battling & Contesting is run and directed by the Headmaster (( insert )), along with staff Evrose Amity Hollis, (( List )).
They strive to teach students all they'll need to know throughout their careers as a Trainer or Coordinator, using classes and clubs to help make it a fun experience for all.

Amity Rose's school is held in the utmost highest regard by many other regions, and is open to applications from all that wish to send their young minds there to learn. They cater to the ages of 16 [Freshmen], 17 [Sophomores], 18 [Juniors], and 19 [Seniors].
There are a variety of clubs to join, but each is directed by an original teacher and integrates into the majors to help expand the trainer in question with different fields.
Battle Tournaments and Contest are held monthly/bi-monthly and also award prizes, special permissions, and items to the winner(s) in question.

{The school's campus is a deluxe area with only the best accommodations for its students as it grew in prestige; including 2 separate dorms for each Major, a cafeteria with a small staff who make the students as well as their Pokemon menus, Acres worth of land with multiple areas for exploration, and much much more.}
{Catching Pokemon in any of these areas is forbidden unless instructed by the teachers to do so. A teacher may also have the captured Pokemon released if they are for experience or an assignment.}
Dorms:
- Battling: These dorms are for the Battling majors and includes a large lobby with a small snack bar for Students/Pokemon, a TV and basic electronics, a calling station, and a sitting area with couches and recliners. The main lobby branches off into two halls, one for the Females and one for Males. There are communal bathrooms for each hall and each room consists of two twin sized beds and a small living area for each student. (( There are options available for gender neutral students, transgender students, or other needs. ))
- Contesting: These dorms are for the Contesting majors and include a large lobby with a small snack bar for Students/Pokemon, a TV and basic electronics, a calling station, and a sitting area with couches and recliners. The main lobby branches off into two halls, one for Females and one for Males. There are communal bathrooms for each hall and each room consists of two twin sized beds and a small living area for each student. - Teachers/Staff: This dorm is for Teachers/Staff alone; it has a deluxe lobby with many sitting areas, up-to-date technology, a staff computer, a private room for each teacher/staff member [each possesses a single bedroom with a bathroom and small studying/living area], a dorm kitchen, and a few storage rooms. It requires key card for access, which is only given to the Staff.

Main Building(s): The Main Building consists of 6 buildings fused together with long halls connecting them. The buildings form a diamond/gem courtyard and training area specifically for the main building's uses only. Many of the Staff Pokemon roam in this 5 acre lot and is usually safe. Each building holds a class and a Teacher's staff area which the school has customized for their use alone. (( Meaning the Science Teacher can have specialized equipment and a lab, the Contesting Teacher can have a kitchen and a miniature stage, and the History teacher could even have their own private museum room or even a full floor 3D map of the Area if they wish. This is where Teachers can explore and go wild.))

Gymnasium/Arena: The Gym/Arena area is for use of the entire student body; it includes an outdoor arena & clearing, stables, an indoor arena and performance stage, as well as bleachers, a weight room off to the side, and a connected indoor pool*. The staff arranges the Gym/Arena based on who has reserved it that day or its intended use; most of the time it's an empty arena with a Gym and Stage set up for the students. It has been used for water stages, sky stages, as well as altered into a miniature forest; you never know what the teachers will come up with next. (( It also hosts all the Battle Tournaments and Contests. ))

Free Arenas: The "Free Arenas" are unique to Amity Rose school. They consist of random outdoor arenas set up around the entire acreage of the school; some are by rivers, in the forest, around plains or meadows, even on the mountains and in caves. Students may use these for any reason but are warned to take care as they staff cannot supervise all students; wild Pokemon may feel up to challenging a trainer as well and are known for declaring one around/on these Arenas.

Acreage Land: The Acreage Land surrounds the school and can be used for any purpose the teachers desire, except for designated Arenas and areas where the headmaster forbids. The land consists of forests, mountain, plains and meadows, cave systems, and many other types of formations. Students are warned to stay within the School's campus and only venture far enough away if given permission, on an assignment, or have a special reason. (( If caught in these areas at night the teacher(s) may issue disciplinary action. ))

Classes are a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 5; your character chooses them based upon what they want to major in and how they want to proceed in their career. Keep in mind there are "Assignments", but they're not something that will require you to do anything except Rp your character through them.

Class List:
- Physical Training: It's essentially P.E with trainers, Pokemon, and also helping their mental fitness for their career; most classes are sorted based upon Battling and Contesting majors, but mixes and cross-assignments are not unheard of.
- Battling, Basics, and Beyond: This is a class that teaches the basics of Battling such as type advantages, items, strategies, HM/TMs, Pokeball types, and other things the teacher sees fit for the Students to know. It also helps integrate battling techniques and out-of-the-classroom lessons. [ For Battling Majors only]
- Contesting, Coordination, and Care: This is a class that teachers the basics of Contests such as moves, berries/items, battling techniques, outfitting/sewing, and other things the teacher sees fit for the Students to know. It also helps integrate techniques, style, and out-of-the-classroom lessons. [ For Contesting Majors only ]
- Poke History: The name says it all, this is a history class for Pokemon, the Regions, as well as legendaries, geography, and other things the teacher sees fit for the Students to know. It's usually taken by Battling Majors, but Contesting Majors have been known to take it.
- Evolution and Sciences: This is a class that any and all students take; it's a mix every year. It uses science to investigate the pokemon world, shiny forms, rare Pokemon, as well as types of evolution and how they happen. It can include other things the teacher feels the students should know, and often integrates out-of-the-classroom experiences and field trips.

History/Background:
Evrose grew up as quite the ugly duckling; she didn't have the looks she has now or the talent. She was picked on quite a bit and this left her rather hateful towards others, but Pokemon always had a soft spot for her. As she grew older, Evrose used a vast knowledge of fashion and makeup to help enhance her appearance until she grew into her looks in her mid-teens. A Buneary was the starter pokemon her mother decided to give her; as she knew how much Evrose admired and loved her Lopunny. When she was around 13, Evrose got tangled up in Team Rocket and was accepted into their academy.

This launched her career of stealing only the Pokemon she deemed beautiful, to surround herself with a team that would cause others to look at her as the fairest. This lead to her stealing a Misdrevious and a Swablu from trainers she deemed unworthy; each Pokemon grew to love and devote themselves as they learned more about their new trainer, now they're inseparable. When she was just shy of 18, Evrose was caught up on a rare job that involved a shiny pokemon, but she stole the scared skitty for herself-- it was just so small and frightened, she couldn't let it fall into the hands of her admin. She raised it and evolved it into a Delcatty, and it took to her with devotion as the memories of its capture faded to nothing. Evrose eventually did catch her own Glameow at the young age of 17, but she did so to help avoid it from being captured with the other Glameow Team Rocket was rounding up.

While "working" for Team Rocket, even at the phases they were almost out of commission, Evrose took an immediate liking to contests. She was born to shine and show off her pokemon, and they happily competed in return for her love and care; as it was more than even their original trainers could offer, as Evrose only stole most at seeing how unhappy they truly were. Her Pokemon team evolved and adjusted over time, eventually progressing to who they are today.

At the age of 18, Evrose was paired with an unsettling partner in Team Rocket named Francy; it lead to an unlikely romance and even greater heartbreak as he soon left to pursue his own dreams. He left her a gift however, from the first contest she'd one with a bet from him; it was an Arcanine that had come from an abusive trainer. Evrose raised and grew leaps and bounds in contests with this beautiful canine, but their journey together ended when he had to guard a pack of growlithe from poachers. She left her beautiful Pokemon behind, keeping his pokeball with her in its shrunken form and a decorative "L" to make sure he couldn't ever be caught again.

With Francy gone and the only memory of him gone, it hit Evrose hard as she soon rounded the ripe age of 19. She took a few years off to live alone in a quiet forest with a large lake and quiet waterfall. After months and months on her own, Evrose did minimal training and instead relaxed and allowed herself time to regenerate, until a wild storm hit. It washed a few odd Pokemon into the lake, but Evrose helped them make it back down the waterfall with her Mismagius; it included a multitude of small pokemon, but a hurt Milotic refused to leave.

Over the next couple of months, Evrose cared and brought Milotic to its former health; it seemed to stick around and enjoyed making the young woman happy with its quirky personality and gentle heart. It's presence calmed her and help speed up her "self healing" project, and Evrose soon turned her eyes back to the future. After moving from Sinnoh, the small cabin was what she needed to adjust to the region she now lived in. It was starting up the contest season, so she soon followed the circuit and hid her Sinnoh live in a case in the top of her closet.

When she was leaving, the Milotic managed to signal its want to travel as well as wanting to repay the woman who'd cared for it. The Milotic was soon revealed to be a girl by Mismagius, and she now accompanies Evrose as she returns to the school she once loved to help run it in the stead of her grandmother's passing.

Personality: Evrose is, as most would say, a tough cookie. She grew up with a soft heart, but the bullies soon took that from her as she grew into a rather spite-filled teenager As she went through school and was lead to Team Rocket, her viscous nature was encouraged. Evrose's personality and history were the perfect target for them to take advantage off, she was far too naive go out on her own in the world. It became apparent that one creature alone was safe from the teen's wrath, however, as her missions made it quite clear. Evrose couldn't harm a Pokemon without reasonable cause. This small shard of light it what allowed her to grow and evolve as she made her way through Team Rocket's ranks. While working herself through the Contest scene, Evrose actually helped stretch her mind and grow. Losing was hard, and she lost quite a bit before she perfected her own style of performing. As she grew up, the young girl's mind blossomed and she thought more for herself. Eventually that young girl became an independent spitfire with a sharp tongue and an even sharper wit. Evrose's Pokemon nurtured her good side, which made it easier for her to transition in the modern times without Team Rocket and in a new land. She still hates to lose and has a competitive streak that could shame the P.T. teacher.

- Evrose has PTSD and can usually be seen strolling in the morning with her Pokemon to refresh herself
- It's rare, but sometimes Evrose's temper snaps and she's been known to be harsh to even students that push her far enough.

History/Background: Gwendolen, shortened to Gwen or Ms. Vera, used to live in Hoenn as a trainer. There, she gained exposure from both Team Magma and Team Aqua before both teams almost caused the end of the world. Before such events, she had been inspired by Magma's use of sciences, and she began to enthusiastically study sciences and evolution before she was accepted as a teacher in Amity.

Personality: Energetic and fast-talking, Gwen can be a little hard to follow. Often times, people have to ask her to slow down to understand her. She always has Flint out of his Pokéball to help her keep classes quiet and just so she can reach over and occasionally pet him.

Other: I DID THIS ALL ON MY PHONE SERELIN ARE YOU PROUD. Johto because 2nd Gen is amazing. I literally went into my AS and chose random Pokémon that I thought suited her, and I'm not done. My Shedinja knows strange moves. I'm going to fix her history. One day.

History/Background: Arki was born in Johto around Ecruteak City, where he would often go and watch the Kimono Girls. He was moved by their dance styles and how they transferred into their battling with the various Eeveelutions. For his 7th birthday, he received an egg from his parents, which hatched into an Eevee. Excited about his first Pokemon, Arki named him Eclipse, and was determined to evolve him into an Umbreon. It finally happened when he was battling with a wild Pokemon around town. Later on, he started watching TV, and he heard about the Contests that started up around Hoenn and Sinnoh. At that point, he was obsessed with contesting, which led to a little bullying against him, but he proved to be good at matching Eclipse's moves with effects. He ended up catching a Growlithe around Ecruteak City and naming him Quarky before receiving a letter of acceptance from Amity Rose's School of Battling and Contesting.

Personality: Thanks to a bit of bullying that went on in his early life after he became interested in contesting, Arki became a little defensive about his interest, though he hopes to meet others like him in the process. He's outgoing and almost seems like a person who would love battling, but his heart obviously lies in contests. Arki wants to make friends, though he doesn't know how to interact with people.

History/Background:

Lily was born in the Hoenn region to a pokemon scientist and his wife/secretary. Her dad tended to always be away, researching the next new discovery in pokemon, so she didn’t get to see him often. It wasn’t that he didn’t love her; he just wasn’t very good with kids. She mostly stayed by her mother’s side as she worked in the lab. Her dad gave her an Absol for her birthday on one of the rare occasions that he was home, and the two have been inseparable ever since. She named her Lily. She was a curious child, and loved trying to help her mom as much as possible. She was usually just carrying papers back and forth. She was quite a sight to behold at three as she ran around with papers to her mom with her Absol in tow, but then one day, her mom was offered a secretary job in Sinnoh. She left with her mom since her dad was away at the time, and wouldn’t be back for a couple of months. Her mom found out she was pregnant a few weeks after they moved.

A few months later, her little sister, Erika, was born. Her dad had come to Sinnoh to take care of her and her mom while she was on bed rest. He stayed for as long as he could before he was called away to help do research on mega evolution. When she turned four, her little sister loved to follow her around. She got really annoyed, but she didn’t tell her to leave her alone. When her little sister turned three, she stumbled upon an injured Riolu. She ran back to Luna, and dragged her to the spot that the Riolu lay injured from what looked like a pokemon battle. They ran to find their mom, and brought her back to where the Riolu was. They took him to a pokemon center, and made sure he was going to be okay. Erika wouldn’t leave his side, and eventually she convinced their mother to let her keep him if he wanted to stay. Her little sister adored her Riolu, and always dressed him up in different outfits; let’s just say he wasn’t at all amused.

She left her mom and little sister, at 15 to attend Amity Rose. She left with Lily, and her newest partner, a poochyena named Xavier. She went to the school, and decided to major in battling as she used to battle with the pokemon at her mom’s lab. She excels in her classes, and tries to learn as much as she can, so she can become a pokemon master one day. In her sophomore year, her poochyena evolved into a Mightyena during a practice battle, and she captured a Roselia during a training exercise. She was extremely happy when she learned she would be able to keep her new pokemon. She named him Grove as soon as she found out he was a male.

At the beginning of the year, she had acquired a shiny stone, but she kept it in a pouch in her dorm room. Grove was helping her dust, and he accidently knocked the stone off of the table. Luna didn’t notice at first and next thing she knew, Grove had evolved into a Roserade. One day, right before the first day of her junior year, she stumbled upon an injured Luxio in the Free Arenas. She took the Luxio back to the school, and watched over the Luxio as it healed. When the Luxio was strong enough to fend for herself, she took her back to the Free Arena to release her, but she wouldn’t leave her. Luna didn’t have the heart to make her go, so she allowed her to stay, and named her Khari.

Personality: Lily is a tomboy. She’s not afraid to get a little dirty for the sake of training. She is very out spoken and easy going. She’s very kind and easy to get along with. She’s passionate about pokemon. She can be a bit shy when you first meet her, and extremely grumpy in the morning as she loathes waking up early. She does have a soft side, but she mostly reserves that for her little sister and pokemon. She’s still very respectful of her elders, but she can be snarky and sarcastic toward her peers, but she doesn’t mean any harm well most of the time.

History/Background:
Erika was born in Sinnoh. She grew up only knowing her mom and her big sister as her dad was always away on business. When she was three, she was playing outside when she found an injured Riolu. She ran back to her big sister, and dragged her to the spot that the Riolu lay injured. She was crying as they ran to find their mother. They took him to a pokemon center, and made sure he was going to be okay. She refused to leave his side, and after a couple days of begging her mother to let her keep the Riolu, her mother gave in. She absolutely adored her new best, and always dressed him up in different outfits. She just knew he loved it even when he would hide from her for a few minutes every time. She loved watching contests on tv, and couldn’t help but want to be one.

When her big sister left to go to school, she took that as her push to start training. She trained with her Riolu in the woods just beyond her house until one day Riolu evolved into a Lucario right before her eyes. She jumped for joy as her best friend was growing stronger as they trained together. When she turned 15, one day she got a letter in the mail from Amity Rose School of Battling & Contesting. She assumed it was from her sister as she writes her periodically to tell her how she was doing, but when she opened the letter, it was an acceptance letter. She was excited but confused at the same time, but when she asked her mom about it she told her that she had sent in an application for her to attend. She was literally jumping for joy as she told Rio. He seemed happy about the news, but he kept his calm demeanor even as she was jumping around like a crazy person.

She was so excited, ad couldn’t wait to start, but it wouldn’t be for another month. She went out for a walk in the woods beyond her backyard with Rio. They just walked around for awhile before a wild glaceon appeared out of nowhere, and attacked Rio. She was in shock at first, but quickly snapped out of it, and told Rio to attack the glaceon back. It wasn’t a hard battle, but the wild glaceon was persistent. She soon came out victorious, and captured the glaceon. After she took both of her pokemon to the pokemon center to get healed up, she named the glaceon Ana. She can’t wait to attend the school soon.

Personality: Erika is hyper active and full of life. She has calmed down slightly since she turned 15, but it’s hard to tell. She is very sweet, and a people person. She loves making friends wherever she goes, but don’t let that fool you. She has a bad temper when crossed, but it takes a lot to get her to that point unless you learn what buttons to push. She is up with the sun in the morning, and loves watching the sunrise in the morning. She can usually be found with her Lucario in the free arena practicing new combinations as she tries to improve. She is extremely curious about how pokemon evolution works which is why she can’t wait to take the class.
