Two rival wolf packs live on two separate tropical islands, separated by a thin stretch of ocean. When the tide is out the water level lowers to reveal a band of sand that briefly joins the two islands for a few hours each night. Once a moon these two packs meet and exchange news and/or requests. Sometimes they even battle...

Anusoruk pack are secretive, mysterious and aloof to all but their own. They are prideful and do not take lightly to insults, especially towards their friends. Within the pack their individual personalities are far more vibrant and warm but they are taught at a young age to conceal their emotions and thoughts from strangers. Their pack name means 'black sands', for they live on a volcanic island and the beaches are inky black from the ashes that once rained down from the long dormant volcanoes.

Uzimanah pack are hot blooded, free spirited and at times reckless wolves. Their care free abandonment can lead to disregarding the boundaries set down by both packs, which has resulted in altercations in the past. They are as honest personality wise with strangers as they are within the privacy of the pack, and you will rarely find a deceitful or two faced wolf amongst them. Their pack name means 'flowering waters' for the beautiful reefs that lie beyond their shores

~Proper grammar, punctuation and spelling is a must. No one wants to decipher the literacy of a five year old
~No wolfspeak (search in urban dictionary if you dont know what it is)
~All ranks must defer to the alpha no matter the situation. OOC I am in charge. Please run significant plot twists by me first to ensure they don't clash with other laid out plans :)
~Do not sign up high ranking wolves if you know you won't be active. If you are inactive for three days without saying anything I will send a warning. If said warning is not heeded you will be removed from the rp. High ranking wolves should be able to post at least once a day.

Ranks
ALPHA: Leader of the pack. Has final say in decision making
BETA: Advisor and successor to the alpha. Commands the thetas and oversees the inner workings of the pack
THETA x 3: Report to the beta. Each theta usually specialises in hunting, fighting/guarding or subterfuge. They train deltas to be gammas and lead patrols/hunting parties
SHAMAN: The voice of the spirits that guide the packs. The shaman is knowledgeable in healing, spiritual guidance and also performs ceremonies within the pack. They are highly respected and revered.
GAMMA: The regular members of the pack. Usually specialise as hunters, guards or spies but have training in all areas. They report to the thetas. Gammas must undergo trials every three moons to ensure they remain fit for the rank. Gammas may challenge a theta for the rank and trade places with them.
DELTA: Gammas in training. Each delta is assigned to a theta depending on which area they would like to specialise in, but will receive some training in the other two areas as well. This is usually chosen depending on body shape, pelt colour and/or other personal attributes. Pups become deltas when they reach 3-4 moons of age depending on how developed they are
TAURHO: Female wolves who are either pregnant or nursing pups. They return to their former duties when their pups are weaned
OMEGA: Retired wolves or those with physical/mental capabilities that prevent them from being able to hunt or fight. They keep the camp tidy and run errands, as well as babysit pups when called to. If a wolf is being punished he/she can be forced into omega duties for a moon or more. The retired wolves are generally well respected and not asked to do much unless very necessary. Wolves can choose to be omegas, but they are last to eat and first to rise every day.

Keep sign ups realistic and only sign up as many as you can handle. Try to keep the sexes balanced and also the high ranks ought to be distributed fairly. If there are multiple applicants for a rank before the rp starts I will choose the most suitable one. Rp will begin once each pack has at least four wolves and alpha, beta and shaman are filled.
