Night walked around the forest feeling safer in there then at home. "At least I'm better off out in the wild," she said as she stopped before a big hole in the ground. The earth around the hole that she was standing on was crumbling, and before she knew it she fell into the deep, dark hole. She closed her eyes and waited for the impact but landed on a soft patch of yellow flowers. She stood up and looked around, wondering what this place could possibly be.

Only the distant sunlight from up above supplied light around the patch of flowers. Three feet ahead was darkness.
"Y'know. Usually someone else would come to aid ya, but you're stuck w' me this time," a gruff voice slurred,"I didn't expect anotha to fall. Guess I was wrong."

She looked around to try to find the source of the voice. As she was looking she began to get confused of who had just talked. "W-Who are you?" she spoke out without much thinking knowing that it would probably not respond.

"What do you humans call monster's these days?" the voice retorted,"freaks o' nature? Or do ya still call us monsters?" the source of the voice stepped out soundlessly. A stout figure, only barely pushing four feet stood before Night. His face was round with a goofy grin plastered onto it. Only, he wasn't human. His face was chalk white and where his eyes were supposed to be, dark empty sockets replaced them. He had a bent over posture, making him seem even smaller. For clothing he had a simple blue shirt with a blue jacket to cover it, black basketball shorts, and fluffy slippers.

"I don't really know, I escaped home so I don't know what they call.... monsters," she said sounding rather very nervous and sad at the same time. As she was still looking around she saw the short figure and her breathing went faster and her heart beat faster. Her eyes went wide and looked away, blinking trying to get the image out of her mind. But to her disappointment, the image was staying there, as if it was carved into her brain forever. "This is all just a dream, it'll go away eventually.... right?" she whispered to herself hoping that she would wake up eventually.

"Sorry kiddo. It ain't a dream" he responded, shrugging his shoulders and closing one eye lazily,"It's so comical. I always get the same reaction. But don't worry. I don't bite. Unless you will of course." He stuffed his hands in his pockets, sighing as well.

"I never knew that this place was even here", she said as she was wondering, how could a hole this big be practically invisible so close to her.... other house. "Wait did it just say it won't bite!" her mind yelled at her trying to get her body moving, but she just stood there, thinking of answers. She had a shocked expression as she remembered what it had said. "Is there even a way out," she thought as she looked around thinking of a possible way she could maybe escape from.

He shook his head,"Once you fall. You can't leave." He kept a close eye on Night. If he mentioned the souls then he'd have to go through the same dilemma with the last human. And to be frank, he was in no mood for that,"So d'ya wanna kept standing there dumbfounded, or are you gonna come to terms that talking skeletons do in fact exist and come with me." If he had eyebrows, they would have been raised at the moment.

"Ok.... I guess I'll come," she said as she started to walk towards the tunnel. She kept thinking that her mind was just tricking her into seeing other things, instead of things that should be there. She tried to make out things in the darkness, but she decided it would be really pointless, since it was really dark in the tunnel.

He walked a few inches ahead of her, his slippers scuffing against the stone floor. The noises of his footsteps bounced from the walls surrounding it,"The name's Sans. What'ta bout you?" He kept his gaze forward, not bothering to look back at her.

"I'm Night, nice to meet you Sans," she said feeling that this is the most she had talked in....13 years. She was surprised she could even speak with not talking for that long, not even to herself. She was glancing around the tunnel looking if there was anything interesting to look at.

"likewise," he paused,"So. Human. I'm gonna warn ya. I'm not the only one that's out of the ordinary, well to you, that you're going to meet. So be prepared. Oh, and, stay right behind me. Although I may have no intention to harm you, there are others who will."

She looked down," So then there other monsters to kill me, great more dangers," she thought as she had a poker-face. She looked back up as to seem like she was paying attention the whole time. But as she was pretending to pay attention, great thanks to ADHD, she kept on glancing at around the tunnel, just to make sure if there was anything interesting, she was sure not to miss it.

Once they reached the end of the tunnel, Sans stopped abruptly,"This may sound weird. But I'm gonna need you to take my hand. It'll only take a second." He lifted a bony hand towards Night, and a azure glow suddenly lit the tunnel. It was one of his eyes.A now visible blue pupil showed,"We're gonna fast travel. I don't like walking too much."
