Heatwave

It’s the year 3036 and the earth has been cooked from the outside in, the suns damaging rays drying up water sources, killing the delicate plants in forests and rainforests alike. Cities fell into irreparable droughts, oceans diminishing until they became dangerous muddy swamps where the layer of mud hid deep trenches of water and falling could kill you. Those who haven’t been killed by the excessive heat, lack of food, or lack of water are quick to run into problems in the form of Raiders. Most humans are savage and have no problem killing or manipulating others to get what they want, and the Raiders show all of those traits in spades. But they also hold the largest water source on the known area of the North American continent, Lake Superior. Getting close to the water source these monsters have would be anyone’s best bet at assured survival, that or over throwing them. But who would be stupid, crazy, or both enough to try that?

Shadows Overhead

The bird kingdom is split into three separate smaller kingdoms. The Diurnal, The Nocturnal, and The Passerine kingdoms. The Diurnal is full of birds of prey that are awake solely during the day and act as the entire kingdom’s sword, most are soldiers, warriors, and fighters who protect those around them. The Nocturnal are the birds of prey awake strictly during the night time, hunting and providing the kingdom with silent fliers that other birds do not possess. They are the hunters, the spies, and the messengers. The Passerine birds are the smaller birds that collect and gather seeds and insects, providing healers, scholars, and workers. There is discord in the kingdom though, infighting and fighting among the smaller factions. But when the arrival of a flock of black birds, crows, and ravens lead by a massive Harpy Eagle appears at the edge of the kingdom demanding surrender could this be what the kingdom needed to pull itself together, tear itself apart, or fall to its knees before this new threat.

In The Open

(This roleplay will be based loosely off of the game ‘Don’t Starve’.)

You are one of the contestants chosen to be on a some unheard of t.v show called In The Open where you will be taken to an unknown area. But what you weren't expecting was for this to be more then some silly, inconsequential game show, where every choice you make could just as easily mean starvation, freezing, becoming injured, or worse...being left out in the dark without a light when nighttime falls. There are cameras, but they're not broadcasting to any network where the outside world can see you. Oh no, they're broadcasting to the game creators who will be throwing everything at you from strange monster like eyebirds and hounds, to things that no one can see going bump in the night. Their goal is simple; Stop you and your group from surviving long enough to make it too the labyrinth and killing the clockwork king. Your goal; Kill the King and get to go home.
