I know Lioden has lots of cat-like markings, but why not have a few related to dogs as well? This marking is inspired by my beagle. It'd be fairly common and it'd be an oasis marking most likely.

Though it's inspired by my dog, I'm not entirely sure if I like the name "hound"....But that was the best name I could find.

Any thoughts/comments? I was thinking it could potentially be a series like the feline series.

A better name would be piebald or white spotting, as that's what it is, and it occurs in more breeds than hounds. in cats this particular pattern is known as bicolour i believe.

I don't think piebald would be the best name because it comes in different colors, not just white. I was considering bicolor, though.

Piebald is literally white spotting. There's no non-white piebald??

No, I meant that this marking I had made comes in different colors! The colors that I didn't scratch out on the page are the colors it could come in. Sorry for the confusion!

I would prefer to see this as Piebald, and have the areas of dark be the lion's base coat color (so the marking is white, rather than the lion being white). I feel like it would be too out of place and unnatural otherwise and wouldn't look good in a majority of cases. In nature it only occurs as white that covers up the base coat.

This would be cool. I've seen a few lions that I thought looked like dogs...

I mean, we have the Taper markings which strongly resemble canine markings, so why not? I definitely like the way it looks.
