Sun was awoke by the rumbling of hunger in her belly, she looked around for her mother who normally would have been around by now and she would be able to get some milk..,but instead she was horrified to discover she was no where to be found. She quickly scrambled to the edge of the bush where she and her siblings where supposed to stay hidden until they're mother returned.

Rainstar || In camp

The silver tabby tomcat had woken up barely minutes earlier, and was still a bit groggy as he stood blankly outside his den. He blinked a few times, blue eyes seeming to get brighter as he did, then leaned down to give his chest a few hurried licks. Rainstar arched his back and leaned back in a luxurious stretch, his sleepiness seeming to leave him as his bones cracked in protest. With a yawn, Rainstar leaped up on top of the hollowed out maple tree - a place where he could warm himself up in the morning sun.

"Fantastic..." Rainstar purred to himself, tabby face angled up to the sun, eyes closed. One ear was twitching, picking up the muffled sounds of two of his warriors inside the den. It wasn't until they left the den that Rainstar could identify them.
"Morning Shadetail, Duskfall." Rainstar turned his head to look over at the siblings, his tail flicking in greeting.

The rays of the rising sun awoken Snowstorm. She yawned in excitement. She looked around at her sleeping warriors hoping they would wake soon. Snowstorm gingerly jumped over each cats hoping not to disturb them. Once outside, she shakes her fur ruffling and the smells of two warriors and her leader filled her nostrils. She trotted over to them and dipped her head in greeting and respect. "Morning Y'all." Snowstorm mewed.

Ferntail twitched her ear to find (OOC: whose the mother of the kits?) Sun and Amber up, worrying for their mother. "What seems to be worrying you young kits?" Ferntail rolled onto her back, exposing her belly and smiled at the kits. Ferntail can smell the strong fear-scents flooding from them and looked over at the other sleeping kits.

Shadowpelt slowly awakens, sensing that it might be dawn. He lays in the back of the cave, comforted by the cold. His icy blue eyes peer at the entrance, his stomach soon rumbling afterwards. Shadowpelt gives his right flank a few gentle licks before fully getting up. He walks pass the rest warriors, not bothering to be gentle. Alas, he gets to the entrance and opens his mouth to smell the air. Shadowpelt looked around the camp and then to the fresh kill pile. 'Eh, I'll wait till I bring something back.' He thought to himself. 'Maybe I'll teach Badgerpaw today.' Settling with that, Shadowpelt walks over to the entrance of the camp and waits.

Blossomtail's hazel brown eyes opened slowly to see the morning light that filtered into the Warrior's den, and she gave herself some time to adjust to the new lighting before pushing herself up to a sitting position. A quick yawn escaped her maw, her sharp, white fangs visible for a split-second. With a small sigh, she turned her head and started to smooth down her fur. Once she was happy with her appearance, she stood up and stretched before looking over to Smallstep's nest, only to see that it was empty. 'That doesn't really surprise me. He always gets up really early.' She thought, moving her gaze to the entrance of the den and peering outside, spotting the small Warrior sitting near the fresh-kill pile, probably waiting for the patrols to be organized. She smiled softly and walked out of the den, over to him. When she reached him, she sat down on his right side. "Morning." She greeted him happily, picking a mouse from the fresh-kill pile and taking a bite out of it. She and Smallstep had been friends for quite some time, and she respected the cat for being so brave, despite how small he was. As she ate, she found her eyes wandering over to Shadetail and his sister, and she ended up watching them for a short while before looking back to her food. Sometimes she wished she had a litter-mate, since Duskfall and Shadetail always seemed to be so happy around each other.

Smallstep had been awake for quite some time now, since he had a habit of waking up early. He was waiting for his friend, Blossomtail, to come out of the Warrior's den. He didn't really mind her sleeping in, since she had been on the Night patrol the previous day. For now, he just sat in the middle of camp, watching as some of the other Warriors began to wake up. A few moments later, he heard the familiar voice of Blossomtail, and he glanced to the side to see her sit down and pick a mouse from the fresh-kill pile. "Morning, did you sleep well?" He asked her politely. "Yes, thank you for asking. What about you?" Blossomtail said, turning her head to look at him. Before he had a chance to respond, he felt a sharp pain in his tail, and he had to bite his tongue to stop himself from yowling. He quickly stood up and hissed, soon seeing that it was Badgerpaw who had accidentally stepped on his tail when he was running past him. "Watch it!" He called after the young cat before sitting down again. "Apprentices." He muttered to himself, rolling his eyes.

Badgerpaw awoke to sunlight shining into his face, and he rolled onto his other side, letting out a groan. He was about to close his eyes and go back to sleep again when he realized that he had training with Shadowpelt today. At that thought, he quickly scrambled to his paws and hastily smoothed down his fur. 'Hopefully I haven't slept in too long.' He thought as he finished grooming his pelt. He quickly padded outside, spotting his mentor sitting by the entrance of camp. He began to run over to him, but he accidentally stepped on the tail of another cat as he did so, and he winced when he heard Smallstep's angry yowl. He turned his head to look back at him for a moment "Sorry, Smallstep!" He apologized quickly before looking ahead again. He came to an abrupt stop in front of Shadowpelt, his ears pricked. "Hello, Shadowpelt. I didn't sleep in too long, did I?" He asked in a slightly worried tone.

Shadowpelt watches the brown tom race across the camp toward him, stepping on another's tail. As he approached Shadowpelt, he looked at the apprentice's face. "No, you did not. But you might want to watch where you're going." He nodded towards Smallstep. He looked back at Badgerpaw. "Good job though. Hoping you didn't miss a lesson." A small smile appears across his face. A she-cat came out of the apprentice's den toward Blossomtail. Shadowpelt looks at Badgerpaw. "Have some competition, huh? Well, I was thinking. Why don't you choose what we will do today? Fighting, hunting, you name it."

Ooc;// Thre not too far from the camp, ^^; other side of the lake actually from where they make they're camp on the Island. But its still a good walking distance I suppose if the breeze where to blow right you might pick up they;re scents or hear they're voices faintly.

Blossomtail's eyes widened in shock when Badgerpaw came racing out of his den, stepping on Smallstep's tail. She quickly calmed down, though, and a flicker of amusement could be seen in her hazel eyes when she heard Smallstep murmur something about apprentices. Soon enough, her own apprentice came running out of the den, and she smiled softly. "Hello, Fawnpaw." She greeted her. "You seem quite energetic today." She chuckled and stood up. "Well, I hope you save some of that energy for our training today. I'm planning on taking you hunting. You should take something to eat first, though." She told the younger cat.

Seeing Fawnpaw approach Blossomtail, he decided to leave the two alone. He didn't want to get in the way of their training. Deciding he'd go out for a walk, he padded out of camp happily. He hadn't planned to go far, but after a while he found himself at a lake. It was actually very relaxing there, and he sat down, staring into the water. Suddenly, the silence was broken by what sounded like...voices? He raised his head and looked across the river, listening carefully. Then he heard the voices again. They were very quiet, like a kit's, and they sounded worried as well. He stood up, his ears twitching. "Hello?" He called out across the water, hoping he'd get a response. "Is anyone there?"

Badgerpaw's ears flattened slightly when Shadowpelt said he should watch where he was going. He was slightly embarrassed about the situation. "I just...didn't see him. I said sorry, though." He said. He was relieved when Shadowpelt said he hadn't slept in too long, and he let out a breath of relief, and when he said that he was allowed to pick what they would do today, his ears pricked up again. "Fighting!" He announced excitedly, jumping to his feet. Fighting was what he was best at, so it was what enjoyed the most. Hunting annoyed him because he found it hard to hide himself from prey.

He trusted him enough though Badgerpaw can be the one to play pranks. Shadowpelt decides to teach a small lesson while on their way to the Training Hollow. He races up a hill and climbs up a tree. He settles himself on a branch and watches for Badgerpaw.
