Dakota // omega // female

Dakota's green eyes slowly fluttered open after hearing a bark, and curled herself yawning slightly. She stood and stretched noticing the other omega (Sam) had already woken up, she yawned again and padded out the small omega den not able to stretch properly in it, seeing her alpha (Conner) and one of the lota's (Emma) were already awake as well. Dakota stretched again raising her rear and pushing her paws in front of her as she did before sitting on her haunches and looking around the clearing once more seeing Emma was leaving -probably herbs- she thought to herself.

Thor woke with a sizable yawn, not to happy with the sun that was shining directly in his face. He stood and shook out his snow white pelt. Not being one for sleeping in a den, there were various pieces of grass sticking to his sides, glaringly obvious. He took a moment to try to get them out, but eventually gave up, deciding to just hop in the river later to bathe. He padded out from his usual resting place under the trees, looking at the few whom were awake already. He noticed Emma leaving, and cocked his head, but let her be. It's not as if she would be doing anything wrong. He gave a soft bark in greeting to the two Omegas, tail waving peacefully behind him as he walked passed, doing just a quick patrol around the camp out of habit. He offered a bow of his head and a smile to Connor, whom was one of his oldest friends in the pack. He was a fine Alpha, and though they were friends Thor showed him the same amount of respect [usually] as any other member of the pack would.

With a yawn the Australian shepherd came to consciousness, eyes half opening. Her face had been right in the light of the den, and she huffed at the annoyance. She slowly glanced around the den; everyone was beginning to wake up, a few already up and about. Once she spotted Connor in the corner she let out another yawn, this time getting to her feet and lazily strolling over to the Alpha, before flopping down at his side and rolling onto her back, leaning her head up to lick at his chops; classic submissive behavior. "Morning, Alpha," she smiled, lying her head back to look up at him. "I suppose you're just about to get some sleep?"

It was thanks to Sam's starting bark the Afghan awoke, head suddenly snapping up from where it rested on her paws. She huffed and licked her lips as she opened her eyes, not really wanting to loll around and got to her feet, beginning to stretch. Once done with her stretches she trotted out of the den, glancing around before strolling towards Sam, giving him a little grunt in greeting, before sitting next to him. "Must you really do that every morning?"

With a grumble Rocky slinked around camp, pacing slightly; he was always early to rise, and found little company in the early mornings. He spotted Thor strolling around and the omega's were up, and he picked up speed to catch up with the Beta. He gave a low 'woof' in greeting, coming up behind him and brushing his body against Thor's affectionately. "Mornin'," he yawned, falling into pace alongside the dog. "Today seems like it's going to be pretty boring; damp and cool, everyone's going to sleep in."

Rolling her eyes at the mongrel, Silky opened her mouth to say something only for it to widen in a yawn. She couldn't help but give a small grin in amusement. "I suppose. But you better be careful with that mouth of yours, one day when you set off yapping your wake-up call and Connor hasn't had his nap you'll be a head shorter," she smirked, sitting before asking slightly teasingly, "Now my little man, any particular requests for your breakfast?"

The fluffy furred female smiled at the wolf dog, half rolling over once more to press against his side and nuzzled close, tail wagging. She was always used to having physical contact, and craved it; soon as Connor decided he'd had enough of her clinginess she would find herself another cuddle buddy - probably Sam, Dakota or Patate. "Well once you do I'll keep guard," she joked lightly, grinning, "Make sure no nasty Sam will howl in your ear like last time."

Thor nod's in affirmative to the Alpha, before turning to the male beside him. "Good morning" he greeted in turn with a happy smile, and chuckling his agreement "Ah, but it's been like that quite a bit lately hasn't it?" he hummed "Maybe Sam has the right idea, waking everyone up" He didn't understand the sleeping in himself, having always been partial to mornings. He was already making up a mental list for a hunt. Perhaps he'd tag along if nothing else was to be done. He was getting rusty anyway. He enjoyed hunting, and had spent a fair amount of time in his younger days doing so.

Dakota yawned slightly still not fully woken up yet. The omega stood and shook her fur out before padding over to a tree and laying under a tree resting her head on her paws, still looking around waiting for the rest of the pack to wake up as well as debating if she should go on a run around the forest for a bit or not.

[Hope you don't mind my character joining Emma and Sage, I'll edit this if you do. She's probably not going to tell Connor, at least not for a while. Also, I changed Velvela's age and sexuality, it's on her form.]

Velvela was up quite early, as usual. She sat right outside the den, enjoying the weather. 'Winter is over. It'll be Spring soon.' She thought with a content sigh. The Delta rose to her paws, about to head back into the den to greet the other dogs, when she saw Emma leaving camp. Normally, she'd just think the Lota was off to go collect some herbs, but she was glancing around like she wanted to make sure she wasn't followed. She was curious as to why Emma was acting so suspicious, and she waited for a short while before following after the other female's scent. After walking for a while, she came to a riverbed, the sound of voices not too far off. She recognized one of the voices as Emma's, but she didn't know the other. She slowly padded over to a bush and hid inside it, trying to observe the situation. The unfamiliar voice she had heard earlier belonged to a female loner, and she was shocked to see Emma talking to her like she was a friend. 'Traitor.' She thought with a small snarl. She remained hidden for their whole conversation, right up to the point where Emma suggested to check the bushes. She dug her nails into the ground, wondering what to do. After a short while, she came out of the bush, standing tall. They were going to find her anyways, so she might as well reveal herself. "Hello, Emma. Do you want to explain what you're doing with this loner?" She said, making it sound more like an order than a question.

Modi had been traveling for days, without rest or a proper meal. He had stopped to lap at a small puddle when he caught the scent of other dogs. He hadn't been around others in a very long time. He wasn't sure what to do, so he ventured forward, not quite understanding territory's. He could hear faint voices, and the scent grew stronger. He ducked behind a bush just big enough to hide his thin, lanky body. He peered through the leaves, trying to get a look at the source of the voices.

Junko had already been up long before the sun had risen. Hunger had driven her to set out for a quick hunting and scouting expedition, though they were up for hours they only managed to catch a few rabbits. So much for lead hunter, but in her defense Nazar wasn't exactly the most stealthy of dogs. As soon as the sun began to rise she gave Nazar some excuse as to why she needed to be left alone. Deciding to make use of the time she had she began to sniff around for any herds or something along that nature. The forest was oddly quiet, the morning light revealed that nothing moved except her. After trotting around for a few more minutes she caught the faintest scent of a small herd of deer, after making a quick mental note about it she turns back around and heads for camp. Not long before she was in eyeshot of the camp she caught the scent of a new dog. Dropping the two rabbits that were in her jaws she followed the scent to a grove of bushes nearby. She spotted a puppy hidden in the bushes, from what she could tell from behind the puppy seemed rather skinny, though she wasn't sure of the breed. Not wanting to startle it too badly she barked cautious greeting. Before asking "Hello, are you lost? And approached as non-threatingly as she knew how.

Nazar// Zeta// In camp// Mentions: Thor, Junko (Briefly) Connor
Nazar entered the camp with two rabbits dangling from his jaws. He felt relaxed after a morning of running around chasing rabbits, though admittedly he wasn’t good at catching small prey, especially with low lighting. He preferred larger game himself but rabbits and squirrels did help to curb his hunger. As he entered the camp he noticed that quite a few of his other pack members were already up. He barked a cheerful greeting to those as he passed by, as he was walking towards his den he noticed Thor and Connor not too far away. With a slightly wagging tail he opted out of heading straight for his den, and instead walked towards them. “Good morning.” he said with a slight nod. He friendlily bumped Thor on the shoulder before dropping the rabbits he had been carrying and nudging one to both of them. ”Hope you slept well.”

Velvela raised her hackles at the challenging tone in the loner's voice, and she walked right up to her to show her just how tall she was. "What's it to me?" She repeated the question in a menacing snarl. "I'm the Delta. I train and lead the warriors of my pack, and I keep my packmates safe. I think a Loner on the territory would be one of my concerns." Vela stared right into her eyes as she spoke, showing her that she wasn't afraid or intimidated. All anger Velvela showed was directed towards the lone female, not Emma. She wasn't mad with Emma, but disappointed. She had expected more from a member of her pack. Hearing the loner's insult, a deep, wolf-like snarl erupted from her throat. "Quit it with the name calling, and give me a reason why you're here, talking with a Lota of the pack. If you don't obey my orders, I have no problem with getting my Leader down here." She threatened, making it clear that she was serious. Velvela wasn't in the mood for jokes.

Dakota nodded to herself and jumped up, stretching again to get her muscles warmed up for the run. she started in a pad before quickly increasing her pace until it was at a run, she mentally face pawed as she remembered she had forgotten to ask her alpha; conner but soon shrugged it off and carried on running through the forest and around the trees as she was quiet agile since she was small for her breed. Dakota let a smile form across her muzzle as she felt the wind blow through her fur loving the feeling.

"Of course," she replied quickly, before moving to sit up and shake her fur out. "I suppose I'll leave you to rest, shall I?You can come find me when you're ready for our walk." she said simply, smiling to Nazar as he passed before yawning and beginning to stretch, forelegs stiff and rigid as she arched her back. "Well my boy, looks like we'll be eating well later," she hummed in amusement as she eyed the rabbits, giving Connor a lick on the ear before standing and glancing around. She'd have to chase down someone in a little bit for a playing session, she was starting to really wake up and felt her usual high energy returning.

The long legged hound rolled her eyes at Sam, raising one long-haired leg to rest her paw on the top of his head, batting simply to annoy him a little. "Of course, little one, three course meal coming up," she grinned, getting to her feet and standing in front of the Omega, play-bowing and tilting her head. "Shame you're so little, we would've made a great pair," she teased, tail wagging, trying to aggravate him.

"It has," he agreed, giving a huff before suddenly stopping and sitting, hind leg moving to scratch vigorously at his ear. "Shame really, especially in the Spring. You can bet it might end soon, it'll not be long before pups will be made," he huffed in amusement, though by the way things were going he wasn't sure if any pairs would be made this season.
