So I'm new to Lioden, and it's been years since I've played a sim, but I am already kind of addicted to this game and would like to make some money so I can, you know, buy pretty things. OKAY, so. What I would like to do is sell art of humans -- before you say anything, hear me out! I pretty much can't draw anything other than humans, and to compensate for that, I have what I think is an interesting idea: I will draw LIONS as HUMANS. I think that'd be neat! I will also draw humans not based on lions. Really, if it's a person, I will (try) to draw them. Now I need help pricing because I'm new and have no idea how to price anything at all. Honestly, it'd be so easy to rip me off. (Please don't.) What I'd most like to offer is something like this:  Click for fullsize. A painted bust. I think I would also like to offer sketches, colored sketches, realistic digital paintings, and also some waist-up and fullbody variations too, but I don't know how I should price the differences, you know? An example of a realistic digital painting:  Click for fullsize. So please, please, please help me out and let me know what you think I could charge (in GB and also what the SB equivalent of 1 GB is) for a painted bust, a sketch, a colored sketch, realistic painting, and waist-up/fullbody variations!  0 players like this post! Uuuuuh for the human pieces...you could probably make a good few human souls, couple kidneys...maybe a liver or two...XD Seriously they.are.amazing. As much as I'd love to buy a human piece, nothing I have would mount up to how much I think they're worth. You could probably make real monies from that. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Ahh definitely 5GB+ Maybe even a lot more because they're such beautiful pieces but if you're starting off maybe a little less? I'm not the best at pricing but these can definitely go for a lot 0 players like this post! Like? |

I could see them going for like 10-20GB, more depending on how complicated the designs are, but you'd also need to consider what a pain it can be to get GB. The higher your price, the less people who are gonna be able to buy, so you'd have to find some balance there that works for you. I've always considered 1000SB equivalent to 1GB, but a lot of people say 1200-1600 depending on GB demand at the moment. 0 players like this post! @Nexus Would 12-15 GB be reasonable for a bust like the first image, and then 3-5 for a sketch and 5-7 for a colored sketch? 0 players like this post! Like? |

Yeah, that sounds like a decent price for it. It would really depend on demand and visibility, how many people would even know that this is a thing, but your art is definitely worth that much. 0 players like this post! Like? |
