I would think this character would be very enthusiastic, and despite their appearance, is quite social and active.

For some reason he's kind of reminding me of King Louie or whatever his name is from Jungle Book and that trumpet playing alligator from Princess and the Frog, and that reminds me of Disney in general. So I would make him like Jazz age either New York or New Orleans. Hope that helps a little XD.

Sort of agreeing with Finge and Shadow King, I'm definitely getting a bit of an older feeling form him, but he's still cool and ish with a ton of stories. Though I also feel like he'd have a partner who passed away a while ago and he can get a bit sad about it.

An alternate, at least to me, would be a semi-smug man who did the whole, "started from the bottom" thing and acts as a mentor/guide for a younger person or somefin.
