Shaikells! Info about species: Shaikell, or Birth Spirits, are playful guardians of their owners. The stones on the centers of their foreheads depend on the birth month of the owner, always having their owner's birth stone. So, if the owner was born in March, they would have an Aquamarine or Bloodstone in their forehead. Their eyes range from 4 to 8, 8 being rare, 6 being common, and 4 being uncommon. The colors of their fur are different cat fur patterns, so they can range from the rare big cats, to the common house cat colorations. Their wing tips can be any color, forming a gradient back into their normal colorations, and can either be the common rounded or the uncommon horn tipped. Wing membranes are a mix of the wing tip color and the under belly color, almost marbled in places, while the wing "arms" are all the colors of the body, excluding the wing tip and membrane colors, marbled. Tails can be the common long, the uncommon mid length, or the rare bob or no tail. Claws can be bronze, gray, or black in color, all being common.Their bodies are entirely furred except the wing "arms", this rule excludes the mythical Sphinx variety, which is entirely bald. All have 5 feathers on their heads. This is a closed species! The only way to get one, is to ask for a custom or buy a design from a batch! What they look like:    0 players like this post! Like? Pricing? Definitely worth 1gb for a precoloured adoptable, 2gb for a custom coloured, and certain prices for add-ons. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I agree with Grayscale, at least 1gb for a precolor but I would go 1.5 for a custom and then add sb for additions{where and if applicable} 0 players like this post! Like? |

I would buy one! about pricing though, I see one drawing looks like its digital and one is traditional. will you be doing the art traditionally or digitally? because that could effect the price, as with digital art you can have a lineart on hand to color instead of drawing the whole thing all over again every time you get a commission, which might make the digital art quicker to do & cost less. However if youre drawing the whole thing from scratch every time traditionally, Id recommend charging for that extra time and effort. You can charge by the hour if you draw the commissions start to finish in one sitting, or you could use sort of a pricing template. I personally would charge NO LESS than 800sb. Im gonna be honest, people are cheap and will try to say youre charging too much ect when you really arnt. Remember that youre selling your time and effort, which is not something you want to just throw away. A good pricing sheet would kinda look like this: Basic design- (at least) 800sb Basic design includes a simple colored and shaded lineart with one marking and one gemstone Add-ons- (about) 100sb each Things like extra pairs of eyes, extra wings, basically any changes to the basic lineart. This would also include trinkets like jewelry, flowers, clothes, other decorations. Custom subspecies- (at least) 1000sb You mentioned a sphynx variety, which would require significant changes to the basic lineart. People will probably request customs subspecies based on their pet cat, feline oc, stuff like that. This price would be for people who are asking you to draw something way outside the basic lineart that you have up there. This is all just a suggestion based on when i sold art on here, you dont have to do it but this is just what ive found to work. Good luck! 0 players like this post! Thank you so much! They would be drawn digitally, but I still have to change the base lineart from all of the common features, not including accessories, if they got a custom with many special features, especially for the sphynx. The traditional one is only up there to show coloration style 0 players like this post! Like? |
