So I was playing Whack a Snake and I thinking how great would it be if the site had the paw cursor as an actual cursor for the site? For example, On your den page where you edit details and change avatars etc, there could be an option to have either the normal or Lion Paw Cursor. It would have the same animation of the paw swiping at what you click on. I personally thought it would be quite cool to have the option of a lion based cursor for the site <3 EDIT: thanks to other suggestions, I think we mostly agree on the idea of having it either static or animated, but that could also be an option along with having the site cursor toggled on and off? Either way, I still feel like this would be a great addition to the site! |

I don't really have an opinion on this, if it's just an option that's fine but if you don't get to choose... I wouldn't be happy, the whack a snake cursor is very frustrating and the exact clicking area is much bigger than a regular pointing cursor. I think it could get inconvenient if I was forced to use it  0 players like this post! Like? |

Neptune - if you check out the Whack 'a' canke game it's already animated. I assume that Xylax is smart and saves his files when he does his work, so just casually assuming that it wouldn't be tooooo difficult to incorporate into the site. I think this would be a nice option to have! I'm not sure about the coding side of things but I've seen animated cursors before so I'm sure it isn't impossible (though the amount of work it entails is a different story, I have no idea about that). You can do that to your own den page through CSS coding and still keep everything else stock, I don't personally think its a good idea sometimes it hard to use custom cursors and can make the website tacky. I have a custom cursor on my den page but I still think they can be tacky, its a hard thing to decide on honestly and from what I've seen most people aren't in favor. I'd say if you want one just code your page to have a custom cursor. But it is a great idea nonetheless 0 players like this post! Like? |

I know about custom cursor CSS, but I'd rather have one for the whole site and not just one page, but like I said, there'd be the option to have it on or off so people who don't like it, don't have to use it lol some cursors can be so tacky ;A; you remember them old 90's cursors and micrsoft stuff. omg. I think it would be better if someone just asked for the code for the cursor so people could use it rather than adding it to the entire site. You can use browser add-ons like Stylish for example to just do this own your own. Plus, animated cursors only work in Internet Explorer... If this was non-animated, sure, I guess I support. Otherwise all anyone not using Internet Explorer would get would be the normal loading cursor(the one with the hourglass next to it). Unless someone figured out a way around that, which I'm pretty sure there isn't one. 0 players like this post! Like? |
