i like him! he looks so old and world-weary already haha. but his gray base is kinda bad news bears in my opinion. maybe try him out with maltese or onyx? maltese i'm thinking because it has blue undertones but onyx would blend very smoothly.

He'd make a great king!

Maybe apply a special base? Like ice, opal, hematite, etc. if you get the applicators at a later time.
I personally like to have paler markings when I have a dark based/marked king, so I'd like to suggest something like Under White 4 or White Underfur, just to brighten him up a little. c:

And finally, if you'd like another challenge for your heir, you can try for two more ice markings, and make him a quadruple ice marked king. It's sure to get you a few more stud requests!
