All over the world, the environment is being destroyed; deforested and repurposed for human use. While this works well for the two-legged kind, it isn’t the same result for those on four legs. Already having a dwindling territory, the steadily increasing population in all countries has pushed tigers of all species to the brink, causing them to take desperate measures to preserve their lives. Species of tigers from all different parts of the world have found themselves in desperate need to find a place to call their own, a territory untouched by the hand of man. However, with so little of that kind of environment remaining, it means the tigers will have to adapt in all sorts of ways; ways they never thought they’d have to before.

In one corner of the world, a tigress is assembling a clan of tigers who strive to work together for survival, rather than struggle on their own. However, these solitary creatures are attempting to change the part of them that has been carried with tigers since the beginnings, and that’s being alone. Due to their nature, this group of tigers will have many struggles and obstacles to overcome, and many will fail, and thus fall, but those who succeed have the chance to not only survive, but thrive in the shelter of the very first tiger clan.

Will YOU Survive?

As clearly stated above, this is, in fact, a Tiger Rp. The above description is the main plot of the Rp, but there will be various subplots throughout the story, so if you have an idea, please feel free to share!

Roleplay Rules
1. This is a Semi-Realistic Rp, So I expect you to have a legitimate Subspecies of Tiger that isn’t extinct.
2. I WILL accept rare color variations, including Maltese and Melanistic. BUT there will be a limited amount.
3. This is at the very least a Semi-Literate Rp, so I expect you to be able to post a Paragraph every post, and have decent grammar and spelling, as well as punctuation and capitalization.
4. I reserve the right to tell you No.
5. There are High Ranks in the Rp, but you CANNOT just have them. I will either chose in Rp, or you can apply to the rank and I can tell you yay or nay.
6. Hate the Character, not the Player.
7. Try to be original with your characters and their stories.
8. No Mary/Gary Sues. (Perfect Characters)
9. No Godmoding, Powerplaying, or Auto-Hitting Please.
10. I do want pictures for this Rp. Not just a description. If your character varies slightly from your picture, that’s fine, let us know via description.
11. If you feel the need to, you may use Anime styled Tiger pictures, but make sure their fairly realistic coloring wise.
12. Have Fun!

Chandra | Sumatran Tigress | Empress
With: Open

Light brown eyes parted as the sun streamed in through the narrow entrance of the cave den the tigress had claimed for herself. Her thick, fluffy tail swayed across the leaf cluttered, dirt floor as the female slowly began to stretch the sleep from her limbs. Needlepoint claws extended from her paws to gently grip the ground as she stretched out across the floor, trying to put off having to leave as much as she possibly could. Finally, deeming it necessary for her to exit her comfy den, the Sumatran tiger rose to her paws and slowly, quietly, slipped from the dark and into the light.

Her medium red-brown coat was bright in the early morning light, but as she moved through the forest it camouflaged her well, keeping her well hidden from the untrained eye. She continued to tread silently through the forest until she parted from the trees, standing on a rocky, sand bank of a creek. It was her favorite spot because she could drink in peace, knowing it was much too difficult for any human to find. Lowering herself at the water’s edge, the tigress quietly began to lap up the cool liquid, coating her parched throat. Her ears swiveled on her head, trying to identify the different sounds she was hearing. Part of her couldn’t help but wonder how the members of the clan were, and so the tigress made up her mind to head to the heart of the territory, the place where most of the tigers could be found. Her den was a bit of a distance away from this spot, giving her the solitude she occasionally craved, and needed, for when things got tough and she needed a minute to herself. For now, though, the tigress stayed at the creek, enjoying one of her favorite spots for the time being.

Ju-Long | South China Tiger | Scout
With: Open

Jay was at the heart of the territory, his blue-ish gray form lying on a high branch of the massive tree that stood there. The giant tree was the reason it was the heart of the territory, because it was the massive tree and then there was an open ring around it, save for boulders the tigers also enjoyed to lay on, and then the forest started again. So it was deemed the center. Ju-Long loved the tree, he loved that multiple tigers could lay amongst its branches all at once and not feel like they were in each other’s space. The lighter, smaller tigers, like himself, could climb higher up, while the larger, heavier tigers, like the beast Hades, could have the lower hanging branches.

Unlike some of the other tigers, Jun didn’t have a den, not because he could have one, but simply because he just didn’t have the desire for one yet. If he felt the need to get away he’d either go on a run, or he’d climb high in a tree. He knew some tigers needed the seclusion of dens, considering many of them were going against the grain of their DNA to try and make a clan work, so he understood the desire for one, but he himself didn’t have that desire. He actually enjoyed the company of other tigers, at least the ones who don’t scare the crap out of him that is, so he was quite content with his ways. He glanced down, awaiting the adventures that would come today, though, he wouldn’t mind a few extra minutes of relaxation.

Bronislav | Bengal Tiger | Guard
With: Open

The large white form of a male, Bengal tiger moved silently to the center of the territory, having left his own den a few minutes ago. He spied an unoccupied boulder large enough to hold his frame, and hopped up on it, stretching out his muscled form across it. His light colored sea green eyes scoped out the surrounding before closing once more. He could take a small cat nap for now, at least he was present if anyone should need him. So until then, he was determined to catch some final Z’s before starting his day completely.

Khan//Male//Warrior//Mentions: Chandra {indirectly}
The large male let out a loud huff as he pulled himself to his feet. He yawned before exciting the den. Khan glanced around before trotting to the entrance of the clans camp. The brute decided to clench his thirst at the river before heading back to camp and waiting for a patrol for the territory.

As he approached, Khan spotted the Empress getting a drink as well. He bowed his head before crouching down and lapping up the cool water. After getting what he needed he turned and padded back on the trail to camp. His large orbs scanned the area around him. He felt oddly calm and happy, which was never natural for this tiger, but he was in a great mood. And hopefully nothing would ruin that.

Maura//Female//Healer//Mentions: Chandra
The healer left her den and trotted to the river bank to gather herbs for her stock. "Morning Empress Chandra," Maura said softly and bowed down before her leader. "How are you this morning?" She asked, avoiding eye contact as always. The golden tigress looked around before grabbing a plant and put it in a neat pile.

Arundhati//Female//Rogue//Mentions: Open
The small female trotted among the trees that she called her home. And since she didn't have a den or some place safe to say, it was true, the whole land she walked was considered her home. Her ears were perked and her eyes were wide, she was scared and always have been, she is hardly calm, her nerves always racing. Arundhati sniffed the air, checking for any troubles that may be around and ahead of her. She sat down for a moment and rested, but staying alert.

Arundhati began on her way again, but unsure of where to go. It wasn't all a lie that she wanted a tiger or tigress to find her and take her in on like a mother or father. But what if they were mean, or what if the same things happened to her like they did her parents. She shuddered and shook her head to make the thought leave her head. She sniffed the air once again, and continued.

Ravi | Medic | Female | Ment: Open | Location: Small River --> Dens

The morning, for Ravi was winding down. She was still mostly nocturnal, a holdover from her stay on the border of human settlements, waiting for night to hunt in peace. Now, here she could hunt in the day without fear. It was quite jarring to be fed every day, the clan making sure of that, compared to the week or more she went between kills.

Prey here was plentiful, and by the river she could see tracks from canids, small and large prey, and birds. Her mind automatically tried to filter and see which was the freshest, and she had to force herself to look at the brush at the side. She didn't come here to hunt, like she was in the evening, but to search for plants.

She had the safety of her hollow tree den, so she could be a bit... risky with plants. It would be nice to have a few plants within easy reach, if they could take into the ground.

Hades | Male | 4 years, 2 months | Lead Guard
Location: Clan's Territory; Hunting Part of the Territory-> Camp | Mentions: None / Open for Interaction

Hades padded in the hunting part of their territory, planning on catching a decent meal for some tiger in the Clan. Sure, he was Lead Guard, but that didn't mean he couldn't hunt. Besides, when was hunting a bad thing? Food was always needed, and extra food was good. The sun hasn't risen yet, so he still had some time to hunt before he started heading back. The wind gently ruffled his fur as he walked on the grassy forest floor, in the part of the territory where the Tigers mostly hunted. But, sniffing and observing the ground before him, a good sized deer soon caught this tiger's sharp eye and he crouched to the ground, his tail above the ground. Stalking the female deer, he got closer until he couldn't go any father without being noticed. Then he ran and pounced, claws digging into its back as his powerful jaws latched onto its neck, biting hard. In a matter of seconds, the massive feline had pulled it to the ground and killed it with his powerful bite.

Seeing the sun begin to rise, Hades began dragging his kill back to camp, knowing he should be there when the morning began. Soon enough, he arrived back home and brought the female deer to the prey pile, setting her down carefully. Eyes landing on the empress, he dipped his head respectfully. "Good morning, Chandra." he greeted as he walked over to her, ready to listen to whatever her plans were for the day. What were his orders? "What are my orders for the day?" he asked, his posture straightening up, towering most. Statistically, he was actually taller than all tigers in the Clan.

Mercy | Female | 3 years, 6 months | Rogue
Location: Clan's Territory; Border. | Mentions: None

Mercy walked across a scented border. She was well aware it belonged to a Clan of tigers, most of this information given to her by her allies, most were rogues that had come across the Clan once or twice. Mercy had been born in a rogue family and had grown up in a rogue family, and her life had super hard as a cub. There was a certain quote she lived by; what doesn't kill you makes you stronger- and she was evidence of that. Her father had been abusive and she hadn't defended herself until she was too hurt to deal with it anymore, finally defending herself against the evil tiger she refused to call her father. That had made her stronger in the end. As well as cold and not trustful of anybody. She didn't trust a single tiger and wouldn't unless some tiger proved themselves to her.

Nose sniffing, she picked up the scent of hare and lowered herself to the ground and stalked it. Then it realized she was there and she bolted towards it, pouncing on it and her paws pinned it down, razor sharp fangs biting its throst. Her pretty eyes watched as the life drained out of its eyes, she sat back in satisfaction and bent over, beginning to feast on her kill. Yeah, she just killed a hare on the Clan's territory, but she was confident and she didn't plan on getting caught.

OOC: Bad entry is bad. Ugh. Bleh. My entries suck. Imperial- maybe Ju-Long could have moved to a tree and watched her kill the hare, without her knowing he was there? Idk.

Adara//Malayan Tiger// Mentions: Ju-Long (Indirectly), Open

Adara was lying on one of the lower branches of the massive tree in the heart of the territory, listening to early morning birds already chirping about something. She looked up, spotting Ju-long's oddly colored pelt a ways above her. She flicks her ears and focuses on watching her clanmates below her. She had been here for almost four months now, but she still felt like a stranger. Not that that was a bad thing. Adara often doubted if she would be here if her sister hadn't run off with some male. But then again, who could blame her? Her poor sister always did need some kind of assurance. A shoulder to lean on. She had been more upset over their mother's death than Adara. The death of their mother is actually what drove them apart, surprisingly. Adara's sister always claimed that it changed Adara, although she felt no different. How could the death of a loved one make anyone different?

Adara shakes her head slightly and stretches, her sharp claws ripping through soft moss as she did so. She should probably start helping around the clan pretty soon. She looks around the territory calmly, her hazel eyes trying to pick out any other tigers.

Alexandra | Tigress | Cub Sitter | Mentions: Ravi, otherwise open?
Blind octaves open, Alexandra lay sprawled across a log in the Cub's area. Alas, no cub's were here, so she was considered useless...although, most might have already considered her to be so. Often, she ignored everyone around her, and acted as if she didn't hear their whispers of pity and anguish for her. She was perfectly capable of fending for herself, and doing the normal routine. She could hunt, patrol, even defend herself against predators. She knew, knew she didn't have the utmost respect she deserved. Tigers like Malo vowed against her, hissing things about 'how she should become an elder, instead of putting the clan in danger.' "Idiot." Picking herself up, the white tigress sauntered to wherever her paws were taking her. Stopping in her tracks, she stiffened as Ravi's scent slapped her right in the nose. A blush immediately formed on her face, and she walked off, hoping she didn't disturb the other female.

Malo | Tiger | Warrior | Mentions: Alexandra, Open.
"Stupid, blind, weak, incompetent." Malo sneered, glaring at Alexandra from afar. Why did Chandra let her stay, anyways? What did she see in her? The brute sat back, chuckling at the vivid images running through his mind. Although after a moment of picturing the tigress getting into some horrific accident, guilt rippled through him. He was becoming his father, wasn't he? Ears pinned against his head, he stumbled backwards, falling over an unknown clanmate. (OPENNNNN)

Ravi | Medic | Female | Ment: Alexandra (brief) / Adara / Ju-long | Location: Small River --> Dens

The tigress already found a suitable plant, Job's tears. In her experience, it apparently was good to have for fevers or for pus-filled wounds, and she heard from another that it was excellent to chew on when one had eaten bad meat or drunk bad water. She gave an experimental chew on the leaves, licking her lips as she found the small berry-like things to be soft- the good kind. Now, the hard part... moving the plant safely.

She flicked her ears back as she heard something move behind her, catching the lingering scent of the blind tigress. Though, she had bigger things to do than ask what she was doing. That would possibly come later. She scratched at the dirt around the plant with her claws, slowly digging up the dirt and roots. Unfortunately, she had to cut the roots below, but... she grabbed the plant as low as she could with her jaws, pulling up. Some of the leaves bruised om her mouth, but with the gentle rumble of dirt, she had a plant in her mouth!

She flicked her tail a few times, trotting towards her den, plopping the poor plant upright, in a clear section of dirt. She took a second to scratch out a small bowl in the earth and nudge the plant in, gently pushing the dirt over it. Perhaps an evening rain will help it, and if this succeeded, she may try again...

That finished, she slowly walked through the camp, hoping to catch a glimpse of one of the many white tigers in the area, though the one she was looking for was the only blind one. She lowered her nose to the ground, chuffing to see if Alexandra passed, but alas, with the multitudes of other scents, it was hard to tell. Finding herself close to one of the trees some of the clan slept in, she decided to ask a question or two.

"Good morning? Have you seen the blind, white-pelted one?' She rumbled, looking up. She couldn't pick out her kin from the tree, but their scents told them off. The tree was riddled with evidence that someone (or more) was there.

Chandra | Sumatran Tigress | Empress
With: Maura >> Hades & JuJu

As she was beginning to leave the creek, she paused and nodded to the tigress who’d spoken to her. ”Good Morning, Maura. I am well, thank you.” She then turned and continued on her way back to the camp of their territory, the massive centered tree standing out from even where she was.

It didn’t take long for the Sumatran tigress to reach the tree, and slowly lower herself onto her haunches in front of it. Her round ears swiveled on her head as she lifted a paw and began to groom it, stretching her toes so she could get between them. If there was one thing the female couldn’t stand, it was something getting stuck between her toes. She’d just put down one paw and was about to clean the other when another voice interrupted her concentration. Light brown eyes fluttered up to meet those of the battle worn tiger before her. ”Good Morning, Hades.” Her voice filled the air quietly, but confidently, her paw coming back down to rest on the earth as she pondered his question.

”I definitely need a group to go out and patrol the territory this morning. Take some of the scouts too so they can take longer or narrower routes a patrol can’t.” She slowly lowered her slim frame to the floor, a small sigh escaping her lips as she did. She couldn’t help but want a lazy day, but she figured that wasn’t really something she should announce to the whole world. While she hid it, the tigress was worn, holding together a clan of solitary creatures was no easy task, and she was definitely frayed from strain. However, she refused to complain and risk destroying all the progress she had made thus far, so she stayed quiet, sucked it up, and kept on trucking.

Ju-Long | South China Tiger | Scout
With: Adara >> Chandra & Hades

Jay had rolled onto his back on the wide branch, tail dangling off it lazily, when he heard a voice call up from below. Carefully the male rolled over to peek below, calmly replying. ”Alexandra? Uhm…. I think I saw her go that way…?” He pointed in the direction he thought he remembered seeing the blind tigress wander off in. While he still worried over the blind female, he knew by now she was just as capable, if not more than, as other tigers when taking care of herself.

However, before the male could really say much else, he heard another familiar voice on the other side of the tree. Carefully the male rose and maneuvered across the branches to peer below, spying his best friend. However, just as he was about to launch himself out of the tree at her, he quickly changed his mine. He was there. Hades. The massive male terrified Ju-Long, and it was a pretty well known fact throughout the clan.

Pinning his ears back he continued to listen before squeaking when he found himself sliding out of the tree unexpectedly. He growled when he thumped against the ground and laid there for a short moment before announcing, ”Don’t ask me to go. I am NOT going anywhere with him. That would mean death. And I don’t want to die today! I will not die a virgin. No ma’am. So don’t ask.” He finished speaking as he lifted himself up to a sit, carefully positioning himself so Chandra was between himself and the larger, much larger, male tiger.

Adara // Malayan Tiger // Huntress // Mentions: Ravi

Adara looks down at the tiger beneath her, calling up into the tree. Her Hazel eyes are narrowed into a glare for a split second before she recognizes the tiger as a clan mate and a female. "White pelt and blind?" Adara asks herself. She was gradually starting to match names with tigers. The easiest ones were Chandra and Ju-long, both being easily definable from the rest of the clan. There were two, maybe three white tigers in the clan so far. That was one thing Adara actually liked about the clan, the tigers she met. Back when she was a rogue, she hardly ever saw any other Malayan tigers, saw one either tiger, and never had seen a Maltese tiger like Ju-long.

"A white tiger did walk by here awhile ago. I didn't see their eyes, though, but they looked to small to be Bronislav. They were walking that direction last time I saw them." Adara says, swishing her tail in the direction she saw the white tiger head off to.

Hades | Male | 4 years, 2 months | Lead Guard
Location: Clan's Territory; Camp | Mentions: Chandra, Ju-Long

Hades nodded as she greeted before his intense eyes darted around the camp, observing his surroundings. Despite living in the Clan for awhile, he didn't fully trust... anyone. Except Chandra, of course. He waited as she thought about his question, his feet flexing on the ground, claws causing a very, very tiny cloud of dust rising just above the ground before settling back on the earth. He nodded at her reply, "Sure.. I can tak-" he began to speak, but was cut off as a gray tiger slid off of a branch above them and land on the ground next to them. He raised an eyebrow, watching the male growl in frustration before he had began to speak. It was Ju-Long, the oddly colored spoke who was supposedly scared of the Guard himself.

Hades' brow remained raised as the Scout spoke. He chuckled softly, a rare noise to hear from him. "I am not going to kill you, Ju-Long." he said assuredly. Looking back at Chandra, he began to think about who he could take. Looking around, he began to speak, "Well.. I can take Bronislav and maybe Khan. Malo. And... Ju-Long." he said, looking at the scout as he finally said his name. Straightening up, he looked for Bronislav and narrowed his eyes as he couldn't see him. Spotting Khan, and Malo, he cleared his throat, "Khan! Malo!" the Lead Guard called, beckoning them both to come over, his tail lashing behind him before he turned back to face the pretty emperess, waiting for the two males he called to come over.

OOC: Bleh. maybe when they on the patrol, Ju-Long strays away and finds Mercy?

Graylethe | 3 years | Male | Outcast
Mentions: N/A ~ Open | Location: Border of Fajar Tebing Clan

A large grey male lay perfectly concealed in the shadows of overhanging trees, his bluish-grey pelt glimmering like silver in patches of sunlight that shone down through the tears, and breaks in the leaves. His unblinking eyes gazing out into the forest before him, taking in a calmed breath to relish in the scents it offered.

Gradually climbing to his feet, he shook himself of any vexatious dirt, and turned to head back into the heart of the clan. Surely the others would be awake, if not all, some, and he needed to speak to the medic about his wounds, and when it was they would finish healing. It wasn't like he needed to be somwere, it was more like, he just wanted to be out of their way, one less issue they would have to deal with. Maybe the second he left, he would hunt, and return to give them a carcass as a thank you.

A young beautiful tigress stretched outside her den, her needle tipped claws protruding from her large paws as she yawned. She stood upright and shook herself, smiling as she walked towards the great tree that centered the middle of their camp. She could see Chandra and Hades talking of something, and was interest to know what.

"Good morning empress, Hades," she smiled to them, her opal eyes gleaming in the glow of sunlight. All though a small she-cat, she was anything but intimidated by the brute that towered over her. Lauvari was fairly knew to this clan, but trusted that Chandra would only except tigers she knew were worthy, strong, and loyal. She felt no cat would turn on them, or so easily attack a fellow clan member.

A/N: Sorry for the bad intros, I'm never good at those ^^'
And Lauvari will be the medic that took Graylethe in, so he should be her responsibly.

The lioness gave a hum, figuring she wasn't really going to try to find another tigress while the day was still young. "Thank you," She rumbled, bowing her head slightly as she turned around, deciding to check back up on the poor plant. She only planted it... a scant hour ago, and it wasn't showing signs of wilting- yet.

She sniffed the plant gently, lying down in a sunny patch for an hour, letting the intensifying rays heat up her pelt for a while. It was nice to sit stretched out for a while, but laziness was never good, so Ravi started to wander, eyeing to see who was going hunting or coming back from a hunt, so to talk and see what she could gather about prey.
