Some may know, some may not...but I'm primarily a dabbler in photoshop- I wouldn't call myself an artist because it's a hobby, not a career.

Tonight, I've decided to step out of my comfort zone...and try out traditional. Also to time how long this will take me because...why not. xD

I've decided to use my main heir, Afzal, for a guinea pig.

See what I mean? Ignoring the rough sketch. XD I erase the primary sketch very lightly, though I can still slightly see it so I know where I'm going- this is where it ACTUALLY looks somewhat lion-y! Lots of floof lines added, as well as facial details, proper shaping. Some decors have been added, too! Aren't I brave/stupid? :D

We have outlines! There's no going back now! D: Sketch is gone, and we're left with an empty lineart, ready to be filled! More detailing in there, left some gaps in the lip & nose for "Shine" effect! Featuring Gavin the Giraffe Pen.
