Good for you for putting your artwork out there as a beginner, i know it can be hard especially if you don't have confidence in your work- that being said prepare yourself for some constructive criticism.

It looks traced, if it is or it isn't doesn't matter to me, but the fact that it looks traced will get you a lot of bad blood on DA- if you don't say they are traced OR if you try and convince people it inst.

IF they are traced, thats fine- i started by tracing things too, but you should put in the artists comments that you traced it.

IF they are not (And even if they are) You should try doing more original artworks, like making your own character or putting your favorite characters in poses that are more original.

It looks like you are using colored pencil! The cool thing about colored pencil is the varied techniques that are out there for the medium. I would recommend looking up colored pencil tutorials on DA, there are a lot of them, and most of them are top notch, it will help you discover the true potential of the medium and how to use them in a more advanced way.

I looked up the characters and i believe that they are not traced, but people on Deviant Art can be jerks and might tear into you about it anyway. Just be careful. I'd hate to see the tolls on DA chase off another budding artist.

I would be careful posting stuff that you referenced closely without sourcing the original image. However, you're doing well!

I would recommend referencing many things, not just cartoon characters. Reference animals and people and objects, learn how to break them down and then build them up and drawing dynamic poses/characters will eventually get easier.
