Hello Liodenites, I've been considering making a beetle skin for some time now, but I've never known what I want to draw. But my search has finally come to an end with... Meerkats! They're adorable lil' animals that I'm sure people wouldn't mind looking at, but there's another reason why I chose them and that reason is because they eat beetles. Wait, what! Why would I want of a skin of an animal that eats beetles? Well, it's to strike fear into the hearts of your enemies in the battle beetle arena, of course!

Larva
A cute lil' baby kat all fuzzy and new, not yet aware of their reputation amongst all beetle kind as the ultimate slayer and decider of fate.

Adult Female
A regal and powerful looking female standing in a sentry position with an appearance inspired by Flower, the former matriarch of the Whiskers. I may or may not end up including the radio collar and/or a snake bite wound.

Adult Male
A crouched meerkat showing off their exoskeleton piercing teeth, pre-stained with the blood of a thousand beetles.

I'll be posting examples of my art soon, although I'll be taking a more realistic and detailed approach than I normally do.
