Species information.


Marozoki are a closed species, that belong to me and only me. you can't make your own so please dont. They will not be to pricey once i post a thread on them though some may be auctioned off they will start low.


Backstory

It's said that one day a young lady was sitting on the beach when she saw a strange creature emerge from the water. she described it to be the size of lion cub, though not very big it was very strong and muscular. It was limping and collapsed on the ground about twenty feet from the young girl. She stood up and slowly made her way towards it unaware of what it was. It was covered in a sticky black substance and had gashed over its four legs and tail and seemed to be missing pieces of its fin. as she got within arms reach it spoke to her a warning.

"Do not touch me."

that's all it would say, and that's all it kept saying. She eventually sat down nearby to watch the creature. who was watching her just as close. After a short time the creature got up and tried to walk back to the water only to collapse again. the young lady decided to try and help and walked over and helped the creature back to its feet. only to wind up with oil all over her hands. The creature couldn't stay standing for more than a few steps before falling again and again. as a last resort to give the creature a chance the lady picked it up carefully and took it with her to try and clean it up and treat its wounds.

A few weeks later the creature was back on its feet. and its wounds had healed and the oil washed from its fur, its colors where warm grey whit a white mane, the young girl decided to make a sketch of it and put it up online just to see what people would think of it.



As horrible of a sketch as it was people seemed to flock to it and people started asking what it was, so she decided to give the creature a name, thus the Marozoki was born.

As word spread scientists started trying to buy it from her but she kept denying them soon they were out searching for them in the ocean, as well as many poachers who saw a chance to make a quick buck. this lead to many wild Marozoki being taken from their natural habitats and being placed in zoos and being sold to the highest bidder. the young girl didn't like this fact. The Marozoki she had saved still lived with her and she had named her Edith Maro. they both discussed many options and decided to make a refuge for more members of Edith's species, cause not everyone knew how to care for them, So she was aiming to help, rehabilitate, and re home most of the Marozoki that where no longer equipped to live in the wild. The ones that could be were released with chips and tags.
