Welcome! Here I will answer some of the most common questions, values for items will not be added here!

Q. How do I protect a cub?
Well, you can scroll down to the bottom of a lionesses page and click "Become Broodmother?" And then you select a few cubs to protect. You get one broodmother per 10 territory. Normal lionesses can protect 5 cubs while a nurturing personality lioness can protect up to 6 cubs. An alternative option is buying the Hornbill Majordomo from Monkey Business for 200 SB each.


Q. When do lions die?
A. Lions die between the ages of 15 and 16. The maximum age they can reach is 16 years of age. You could also freeze them using the jellyfish from the oasis to make them immortal forever. Lionesses are no longer able to breed after the age of 14. Then, a button saying "Retire Now" will pop up and you can retire her to your Pride Dynasty early.

Q. How do I accept stud requests?
A. You will get a notification when someone sends a stud request. It will lion you to a lioness and where to stud them. Click on that second link. You can then either accept or reject the request. If you click accept, you will loose 5 energy for every failed attempt and 10 energy when it succeeds. After you succeed, you will get the SB from the request.
However, if you decide to reject the request, you will loose no energy and the player who sent the request will be refunded their SB.

Q. Who is Xylax?
A. Xylax is the mighty main artist of lioden! He creates most of the art found around you. From explore to lions, he works on it all. (More mods coming soon!)

How do I claim a Lioness in Explore (why do I keep getting rejected)?

It's mostly luck to be completely honest, although its estimated that impression might matter a bit, the more impressive the lion the slightly higher chance of the claim working.
Now although this may be a valid thing (in my opinion no).

It mostly matters on the actions you choose, and your lions personality, for example, a kind/good king has a better chance at impressing a good/kind natured lionesses, than a snarky/evil one, though its still possible.

Now moves or actions are important too!!

I've found a combination that works for me, not all the time bear in mind.
(note; claiming works better if you reject/ do not impress a few females beforehand, I don't know why, it might just be me)

its an all around method I guess, and you can edit it a bit for different personalities

the general combo is; Manly Roar, Shake Mane, now these are important as they're generally bound to impress any lioness regardless of personality, and from then on you can edit

Good/Kind Personality's
- Work best with a Manly Roar, Shake Mane, Purr, Rub head
(the last two don't necessarily have to be in order, but I like it that way.

Neutral Personality
-You can use the same combo, or throw in a puff out chest, and the use purr, or rub head

Snarky/Evil (I don't get a lot of these lionesses so bear with)
- f you're not brave and want to stay safe, keep to the Manly Roar, and Shake mane, theyre bound to get you a few hearts no matter what
- Avoid any Good actions, which means NO purr/Rub head
-Go for a growl, and/or a snarl (or if you're lame like me Puff out your chest, and hope for the best)
-if your lioness is downright evil, be adventurous and go for a bite neck/spray scent (I don't like these ones though, also if its a real pretty NCL just don't risk it)

Now bit of advice to all you news, I know its been a lot to read, and all that so feel free to skip.
These are the combos that usually work best for me, theyre not guaranteed a 100% success rate, but, over half the time I do end up claiming a NCL, good luck y'all.

Hi, sorry, but I can't figure out how to get a beetle

@Cat You can find beetles in explore, or go to the Trade Center and use the beetle search (Located in the bottom right) to find the beetle you are looking for. They will appear in your Mounds which are below your caves for lions. Larvae will need to be fed or they risk an early death from hunger.

Hey, I could use some help! I'm seriously confused with this whole mutation roll, and I have no idea what exactly to do so I can breed some mutes myself.

Also, I'm trying to get some GB, so any helpful tips on trying to get some will be extremely helpful. Thank you! ♥

Well for the rolls, I actually cannot find anything on it. I know that achromia, bob tail, and folded ears are first. Then comes piebald and primal. Last are all of the lethal mutations and leopons. To breed them, use CRBs, GMO cows, Lion Meats, and lion scrotums.


Enter raffles, sell lions and items, buy some in the oasis, or trade SB for GB.

What does the item 'lion scrotum' do?

It increases the chance for the mother to pass her mutation to her cubs. It does not work on hybrids such as Leopons.
