I'm not sure at what age a cub stops suckling, but maybe the prompts could better reflect its eating behaviours. At first the prompts could be about how you notice the cub has trouble staying latched on, or it keeps dribbling milk everywhere... At this point it could get a LITTLE nutrition. That would allow it to survive until its mother stops producing milk, meaning it would have to try to eat meat, meaning it couldn't, meaning -- dun dun dunnn -- DEATH. Again, I'm not sure what age that would be, but I think it would be interesting to highlight the progression of the cub's problems!

Maybe it can be called Ankylosis?

From Wikipedia;
