Dabria~ - amale becomes a sub male upon hitting 2 years old, its automatic and you cannot choose which male takes the slot, so make sure to chase any unwanted adolescents in time, so they dont make your wanted male run off.

You need to add a male slot. Look at your den page; there's a plus sign next to the box that says Male Slots. Click on it, and you can buy a male slot for silver beetles.

As said before me, you'll need to expand your sub male slots if you don't want your young male to leave, although here's a visual for you:



There will be a plus sign (+) beside the "Male slots" which you can purchase for 500 SB each, for the first two slots (and you can earn SB through selling lions, games, or from explore/etc). When you're first new, however, I'd definitely recommend focusing on getting slots for lionesses :)

Very dumb question, can I pick which male is the sub? Is it automatic? And does the sub male, have to be adult?

The male lion will automatically become a sub male- if you have the sub male slot for it!
