As you probably know, lion bases come in 3 shades, dark, light, and medium. When you interbreed these shades, the cubs have a percentage chance for what shade they have. But what if you could outbreed them from this? Allow me to explain-

Medium x Medium = 15% Dark, 15% Light, 70% Medium
You breed 2 Fawn lions together and they have a Fawn child. That cub breeds with another Fawn, and also has a Fawn child, and this continues for multiple generations.
At each generation where the same color is passed, this Cream Medium Solid Common has a less chance of passing the 15% Dark or 15% Light. So it light look something like this-

Generation 1 =Medium x Medium = 15% Dark, 15% Light, 70% Medium
Generation 2 =Medium x Medium = 13% Dark, 13% Light, 74% Medium
Generation 3 =Medium x Medium = 10% Dark, 10% Light, 80% Medium
Generation 4 =Medium x Medium = 6% Dark, 6% Light, 88% Medium
Generation 5 =Medium x Medium = 2% Dark, 2% Light, 96% Medium

This is something that could even apply to the actual color, meaning if you have 8 generations of Fawn lions, their gene pool is so clean from other colors, they actually show up less common, and stay true to their lineage. Of course lions with special special colors will still be rare to pass on their color, but this concept can still apply to them, just maybe at a much slower increase.

This would also be extremely helpful for those who are trying to breed lions of a certain color, only to have their child coming out with all colors except the one the parents actually have.
