Sorry, I don't know what else to call this... I checked about 20 pages of suggestions and can't find anything like this, so I apologize in advance if this was already suggested and for some reason rejected.

On one site I'm on it warns you when you're about to leave a page you've written something on, like when you make/edit a post, description, or whatever. So there's a safety in place when you're using a touchpad and you accidentally click something and it navigates off the page. I don't know how many times I've lost descriptions of my lions after I've done a nice little story for them. Does anyone else do this? All the time...?

As another example, say I've just written this post and worded it really well and I use my touchpad to check something in another tab and while the cursor moves over a link on THIS page it accidentally clicks. This post is now lost. This happens a lot and it's really upsetting.
I really hope I'm describing this in a way that makes sense and I'm trying so hard not to be snappy.
If you have a better way of wording this or titling this please let me know. I really don't like this title. I know it's confusing and I don't know how to fix it, I just want this idea out there.
