Hi, I'd like to get through the storyline for this month's event, but I don't know how to defeat Apollyon as I just joined so my lion is not very strong. :P Any tips on moves that work best against Apollyon? Or is it hopeless for me and I should just bow?  1 player likes this post! Like? |

Clawing doesn't also work on Apollyon, he has too thick skin like Rhinos and elephants have, making it do very little damage. 1 player likes this post! Like? |

Hello Li (again)! Defeating Apollyon is just luck! Sometimes I win, sometimes I even lose. Just choose your moves carefully. Resting, for example, during battling typically helps earn you some health back, however, while fighting Apollyon, it doesn’t work and he just attacks you, leaving you to waste another move. Roaring does no help either, because he is a strong competitor and should only be used on weaker opponents like a civet or something. I typically stick to Pound, Claw, Kick, Grab etc. Also, strangle is a hit or miss. It can do a lot of damage, or fail miserably and you lose a turn basically. I literally only use kick on him and I win 9/10 times. Remember to play with the Baoball goalie in the game section everyday for a couple of extra stats. :) You could also buy 2 or 3 lucky feet and save them for when you fight him and are about to lose.^^ Good luck! 0 players like this post! Your best bet would be to grab and pound him as pound gives a decent chance of stunning him. As long as I remember to not click rest, I probably win like 90% of the time. 0 players like this post! Like? |
